How does it work?

Educational institutions co-design skills maps with employers to identify critical competencies. 

Employers evaluate curricula, provide internships, and participate in exclusive hiring events for Tech Alliance institutions and its learners. 

Students gain industry support, enroll in relevant courses for in-demand tech jobs, boosting career readiness as curricula aligns with employer needs.

Evaluate curricula

Tech Alliance employers work directly with education institutions to evaluate curricula.

Targeted activities

Employers participate in Tech Alliances through a variety of activities aligned to their entry-level talent, skilling, diversity and employer brand priorities.

Hiring events

Tech Alliance activities are offered regionally and seasonally [GR1] for employers to recruit tech talent and provide learners with professional and technical skills, through activities such as job fairs, job preparation sessions, and applied learning events including AWS Jam or AWS Cloud Quest.

Custom premium activities

Additional premium activities are offered to employers with more customization, including Tech Talks, Mentoring, Hackathons, and AWS GameDay.

Where is the AWS Tech Alliance available for employers?

The Tech Alliance is available in the following countries: Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Italy, Malaysia, Spain, and the United States. Within the US, it is available in five states: Illinois, New York, Texas, Washington, and West Virginia.
