Instructure Drives Transformation in the Educational Experience with AWS

Canvas brings online learning to students of all ages, all over the world, and enables educational school districts and higher education institutions to focus on student success and educational outcomes. Instructure delivers online learning to over 30 million users at colleges, universities, and school districts in over 70 countries around the world, providing unequaled access to learners from every walk of life. Instructure decided to run all development, testing, and production workloads in the AWS Cloud using services including Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS), and AWS Auto Scaling. Instructure benefits from the scalability of AWS, successfully handling more users when demand spikes while protecting the confidentiality of its students with the built-in security of  AWS.
