AWS has collaborated with the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) since 2020 on its workforce development.  In June 2023, AWS signed a nationwide agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research (MoHESR). This agreement provides entry points into higher education institutions across Egypt to deliver faculty enablement, AWS education programs, curriculum development, and a talent pipeline into the Tech Alliance with Egyptian employers.
