Overview
Kubeapps is a web-based UI for launching and managing applications on Kubernetes. It allows users to deploy trusted applications and operators to control users access to the cluster.
Once Kubeapps is running in the cluster, users can browse Helm charts from public or private chart repositories and easily deploy them into the cluster.
Additionally, Kubeapps offers a graphical interface to upgrade, manage and delete applications in the cluster.
External services from the Kubernetes Service Catalog and available Service Brokers can be provisioned directly from Kubeapps.
Why Use Bitnami Helm Charts?
Bitnami certifies that our containers are secure, up-to-date, and packaged using industry best practices. Bitnami containers can be deployed on top of EKS.
Bitnami also makes Helm Charts available for most of the container solutions. These Helm Charts can be used with Kubeapps, a dashboard for deploying and managing Kubernetes applications in your cluster.
Highlights
- Up-to-date and secure. When vulnerabilities are identified or new versions of the application and its components are released, Bitnami automatically repackages the Helm chart and pushes the latest version to the cloud marketplaces.
- Ready to run on Kubernetes. Bitnami Helm charts reduce the complexity of application deployment on a cluster by defining Kubernetes objects in the manifest files.
- Use Kubeapps for easier and safer management of applications in Kubernetes clusters.
