    IBM Security Guardium Multi-Cloud Data Protection: Safeguard critical, sensitive, or regulated data wherever it resides.

    A Guardium Collector can be run as a standalone instance or as part of scaled, multi-tier architecture utilizing both an Aggregator and Central Manager. An Aggregator allows for data to be consolidated and/or purged from Collectors while a Central Manager enables central administration of all Guardium instances.

    Current Guardium customers can use their existing licenses.

    We recommend using IBM Security Guardium version 11.2 plus any new fix bundles from Fix Central. Older versions are made available for archival purposes and may contain bugs and/or security vulnerabilities. Security bulletins contain instructions for the security vulnerability addressed therein, and may require upgrading to a newer version.     Pricing and entitlements for this product are managed outside of AWS Marketplace through an external billing relationship between you and the vendor. You activate the product by supplying an existing license purchased outside of AWS Marketplace, while AWS provides the infrastructure required to launch the product. Subscriptions have no end date and may be cancelled any time. However, the cancellation won't affect the status of an active license if it was purchased outside of AWS Marketplace.

    The reporting and policy capabilities as well as the support it has for a wide range of DB types

    The lack of seamless integrations with other applications/tools

    Provides an enteprise wide solution to DAML and is extremely helpful for audit requests

    Its not easy to upgrade the STAPs when the ATAP is enabled.

    IBM security guardium discover and classifes the sensitive data residing on-prem or on cloud , enabling an all inclusive view of your data security & compliance posture.

    It helps to verify , define & emforce data rules sets & policies based on latest data user permissions .

    There is no dislike for this tool because it helps us to embrace a Next-Gen Data Security approach and address all data security concerns and challenges . So there is no disadvantage of this tool
