Usage instructions
Switch to the postgres account on your server by typing the following:
sudo -i -u postgres
Now you can immediately access a Postgres command line by typing the following:
psql
This will allow you to access the PostgreSQL command line and from there you can immediately interact with the database management system.
Exit the PostgreSQL command line by typing the following:
\ q
