This ETAS product RTA-VRTE StarterKit offers you the full middleware solution for microprocessors based on AUTOSAR Adaptive. It offers the tooling ISOLAR-VRTE, the middleware RTA-VRTE (AUTOSAR Adaptive stack) and an integrated virtual ECU simulation to run the middleware. With this powerful StarterKit you are ready to go to experience the application development of AUTOSAR Adaptive as well as the configuration of the middleware for a dedicated system.

Usage instructions
The RTA-VRTE StarterKit is a full debian distribution with the ETAS middleware solution for microprocessors based on AUTOSAR Adaptive installed inside. Documentation is available for buyers only but integrated into the AWS AMI image.
The user needs to log in via RDP using the user name is "developer" and password is the %AMI-instance-ID%.
The user should create a secondary network interface (==> HowTo document is provided inside the virtual machine) and attach it to the RTA VRTE starter kit EC2 instance while launching it. This MAC address must be provided while requesting for RTA-VRTE license from the ETAS GmbH. Once the user obtained the license, it must be copied to a location inside instance via SCP and load the license to ETAS license manager which is available inside the starter kit instance.
User should enable SSH(22) and RDP(3389) ports opened for accessing the starter kit instance. For the NiceDCV version TCP port 8443 should be enabled as well. Starter kit instance have default keyboard mapped to English (US), which can be customized if required after successful login. If user must build RTA-VRTE reference application on a QNX environment, user should have a valid QNX license. QNX license will not be bundled with RTA-VRTE starter kit AMI. Standard support is covered in case of perpetual licenses only with a valid maintenance contract. We strongly recommend to keep the maintenance of perpetual licenses in a good shape.
