Overview
John Snow Labs - Healthcare NLP Libraries are designed to help organizations extract insights from unstructured documents and enable faster, more accurate data analysis. Healthcare NLP is a cutting-edge natural language processing solution designed specifically for the healthcare domain, leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms and a vast medical knowledge base. Healthcare NLP excels in transforming raw healthcare data into structured, actionable information.
This product allows the generation of a flexible package of floating licenses for John Snow Labs Natural Language Processing Python libraries. At subscription time users can specify the number of licenses they need for each library - Healthcare NLP, Visual NLP, Finance NLP, and Legal NLP and the duration of the subscription. When the product is deployed on an EC2 machine, a license bundle is automatically generated and loaded in the Jupyter Lab environment. Users can right away start annotating their text documents with pretrained DL models, rules, and prompts, or train and tune new models. For facilitating quick experiments, we included a set of ready-to-use notebooks in the product, available in the Jupyter Lab environment.
The license package can be used on the AWS servers where this product is deployed or can be downloaded and used locally (e.g. local machines or colab environments). The license bundle can be shared by a team of data scientists or used inside the NLP Lab product to unlock Visual, Healthcare, Finance, or Legal features, according to the bundle configuration. There is no limit on the number of documents, models, or pipelines that can be used with this subscription. However, the number of parallel pipelines/jobs that can be run is limited to the number of floating licenses selected at subscription time.

64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
No sensitive information related to you or your organization will be managed or stored by the John Snow Labs NLP library on the instance(s) where you deploy the product. It is the user's responsibility to safely manage sensitive documents processed using the John Snow Labs NLP libraries. The software does not call home - all document processing is done locally and documents are not copied nor shared outside of the running instances.
Data Encryption: This solution does not encrypt data within the running instance.
Cryptographic keys: John Snow Labs NLP product does not use credentials and cryptographic keys.
Usage instructions:
On instance startup, navigate to http://<PUBLIC_IP_OF_INSTANCE> to access the landing page of the product. Here you will find information about the libraries included in your subscription and links to ready-to-use notebooks for the most popular tasks. Click on one of the library boxes to navigate to your John Snow Labs - NLP Jupyter server and run the notebooks on your data. On the first deployment, a license key is generated for you according to the configuration you specified in your subscription and when that becomes available you will be able to download it for use in your custom NLP pipelines.
The password for connecting to Jupyter Lab is the instance id.
To run one of the notebooks, just click on it to open it and then click Run.
To connect to the operating system, use SSH and the username ubuntu.
