Canonical provides two mechanisms for upgrading Ubuntu LTS instances to Ubuntu Pro without redeploying. The first method is through AWS License Manager, which enables all the Pro features on the instance through a license conversion. This method is self-service and billed on a per-second basis at the applicable On-Demand or Savings Plan rates for Ubuntu Pro.

The second method is through an Ubuntu Pro Upgrade annual subscription and requires contacting Canonical through this listing.
