AWS FinOps Deep Dive Assessment

Organizational leaders are always looking for ways to optimize cloud spend to either reinvest and scale the business or to improve operational efficiency by cutting costs. Thoughtworks Assessment framework will provide deep insights into solving these problems and help design a high level strategic roadmap and business plan to achieve your goals. We'll help you explore how AWS products and services such as AWS Cost explorer, AWS Pricing Calculator, EC2, AWS S3, Aurora, Athena, AWS Savings Plans, AWS compute, storage and additional services can play a role in your organization’s cloud blueprint.

Activities

• Session # 1 (2 hours) Review and connect your existing data sources, conduct preliminary investigation of your existing product footprint

• Session # 2 (2 hours) Deep dive into the 80 point assessment framework from Thoughtworks and categorize the maturity of your process jointly based on objective and subjective measurements

• Session # 3 (2 hours) Fine tune the assessment data to make sure that your data is aligned with your product and organizational strategic roadmap

• Session # 4 (2 hours) Build a proposal jointly that you can take to your leadership for approvals including different pricing options
