It's Rich features, and embedded/Adhoc & pixel perfect reporting

What do you like best about the product?
The team at TIBCO has offered great support in getting our product running. We have faced multiple roadblocks internally, including security constraints, infrastructure constraints, and a shortage of internal resources. TIBCO has been supportive through each of these issues and consistent in following up to offer assistance wherever possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
No issues to report. The team has been outstanding to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jaspersoft is replacing a different report writing software that is no longer supported.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that after creating a Jasper Report it's very easy to publish it and share it with other people (because it's integrated with other software). Also, usually when i reach out to customer support my questions get resolved, and it's also nice that from time to time they check on me proactively to see if i'm having any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The feature of creating prompts was a bit easier to use in the previous version, but it might be just a matter of training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We create reports that summarize our data and help us with quality control and assessment (i wasn't able to see all the options in the drop down menu in the previous question)

The jaspersoft reporting is very userfrriendly and flexible

There are some room for improvement in Jasper development tool i.e jasper studio. Sometimes the changes take a lot of time to reflect. Also the errors can be more elaberative for an developer/admin to understand.

Getting useful business data in summerized format

What do you like best about the product?
Jaspersoft is a very interactive and easy-to-use tool, it is very practical for those companies that need unlimited users without incurring additional costs or having charges for the number of existing users, Jaspersoft also allows having interactive dashboards updated in real-time and embedding different websites within Jaspersoft.
What do you dislike about the product?
As such, I don't find a disadvantage of Jaspersoft, often manufacturers don't have good support but this is not the case with Jaspersoft, their response times are very accurate and they are willing to help you in every possible way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jaspersoft helped us provide our clients with an efficient solution that is fair in terms of cost versus benefit, given that the biggest problem for our clients is the limit on the number of users, but we do not have this problem with Jaspersoft.

Its behaviour seems to be inconsistent on occasion, e.g. the internal application of styles.
Also, the cache sometimes causes issues on the Server by not reflecting the latest changes.

I like that Jasper is able to develop reports easily and able to generate or design as per customer requirements and it is Java based tool.

Able to generate Tabular and Graphical reports, So that customers can understand easily.

Building client facing reports for our team using Jasper Studio and AdHoc views based on domains.
What do you like best about the product?
The customization it allows for, everything can be configured as wanted at "pixel level".

It's not very user friendly, the user is not able to apply minor changes to a report (such as adding a column) without a solid training .

Fantastic for Pixel Perfect Design; Doesn't Meet Expectations for Embedded Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Jaspersoft's pixel perfect Desktop Studio platform helps our company to create attractive reports accurately (PDFs, Excel documents, etc.). It meets our expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have struggled getting Jaspersoft embedded analytics to fit into our proprietary software the way we would like it to. We have faced some limitations with both Studio's analytics tools as well as the Ad Hoc tools. Neither can quite meet our expectations because Studio is iFrame-based (we need dynamic resizing of widgets) and Ad Hoc is too simple for the complex widgets we hope to produce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Jaspersoft expert has helped us to explore ways to make the embedded analytics work inside our software. Though our Jaspersoft representative has been absolutely fantastic to work with, the product itself can quite reach to our expectations. We have explored all avenues and seem to keep running into limitations with the embedded analytics piece.
