Easy provisioning and setup
I was able to provision a free service for backing up my EC2 instances and RDS environment. Easy setup, at no cost. So far, so good...
Simple to setup and easy to use
It is simple to setup and easy to use. It has much of info on display. UI is intuitive. It has many tools to assure backup job is running ok. It is simple to organize a backup storage infrastructure. The data protection is on highest level, reliability is the same.
We highly recommend this product.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to setup and once set it just does the work for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, it has been very simple to learn and implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our clients rely on us to keep their data safe. And they rely on us to get it back in case of an emergency or disaster. Veeam Backup for AWS has allowed us to implement this offer with our managed services.
Reliable and easy
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple to setup and is very reliable. The backups are always successful and they are always working images.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to setup. It is an easy process but long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It just works. Our previous backup solution failed frequently. Veeam always works without a hiccup.

Has many tools to make sure all backups are running and the expenses that will be accumulated in AWS for storage.

Just have a few weeks using it and so far like it.

problems I am solving is organizing my AWS backups and being able to backup my data automatically.
benefits that I have realized is how efficiently it runs and saving a few $$$ on AWS usage cost.

What do you like best about the product?
Building on what Veeam have been offering for several years now, having a product THAT JUST WORKS is peace of mind when running production workloads in the cloud.With Veeam backup for AWS the ability to quickly and easily deploy from the marketplace via a Cloud Formation template and get backups configured in minutes is a really powerful message and one that people need when they want to actively and properly utilise cloud computing options, Also the cost estimator at the end of a policy is a nice touch.
What do you dislike about the product?
After spending time with Veeam Backup for AWS I don't think there is anything I dislike because it a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to expand upon onsite policies for data protection with ease to the cloud and the ease of combining cloud elasticity with testing of backups really is a winning combination. The fact That your onsite or private cloud backup admin can utilise software from Veeam regardless as to where his data lives is peace of mind

Easy to install and integrate into our already existing Veeam products.

Had few bugs that needed to be solved with support, but all have been resolved at this point

Highly Recommended: Veeam Backup for AWS
We were early adopters of Veeam Backup for AWS version 1.0, and have since upgraded to version 2.0. It was relatively easy to setup and configure with some excellent tech support from Veeam. As users of the traditional Veeam BU&R product for VMware, the AWS product has an extremely familiar look and feel. There are four features of the product that we have found to be exceptionally useful: (1) the ability to automatically include EC2 instances based upon associating instance tags with backup policies; (2) the ability to accurately model storage and network charges; (3) the ability to test backup policies and their permissions; (4) the interoperability of the of the traditional and AWS products. I recommend it highly for anyone running on AWS EC2
