Easy to use & manage
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and restore. The reports are easy to read and if there is any problems the problems are usaly easy to fix.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of imutable copie option.
It should be nice to be able to use the imutable storage we have for the veeam backup and replication 12

Simple and effective backup and recovery solution for Email, Teams, SharePoint
What do you like best about the product?
Security in today's landscape MUST include a backup tool for Microsoft 365. They do not guarantee that your data is backed up, it's up to you. Veeam Backup comes in to the picture and provides a really easy-to-use solution that integrates seamlessly with the Microsoft API to provide granular backups of each user. Veeam makes it easy to restore data when needed and back up to a variety of cloud/on-prem storage solutions, making it easy to implement into our existing backup processes. The service runs all the time and takes multiple backups a day to ensure that data is protected and safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam's licensing has shifted more to a subscription model and costs have certainly increased. While it's still easy and possible to deploy on-prem, more often you are encouraged to look at cloud options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Microsoft does not guarantee backups for their Microsoft 365 product. If you use 365, you must use a backup tool. Veeam directly addresses this need.
Veeam for 0365 has been seamless and very easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
It runs in the background with very little admin input. Super user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I havent ran into any real issues with the product, I have been using it for over a year.

Industry Requiements for backups are easily setup and managed.

What do you like best about the product?
It does the job and backs up our files and has an alright interface. The support is helpful as much as they can. Product is limited due to microsoft's limitations
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a couple of weeks to setup due to our how our file system is setup on OneDrive and times out due to Microsoft's limiting. They'll help you but was not a plug an play process

Ease of use. You can pick it up and get it running with minimum setup and start backing up right away
What do you dislike about the product?
The backup jobs cant be too sophisticated and we have to have separate jobs for sharepoint/onedrive and email.

Needed backups outside of the cloud of our o365 environment. It does exactly what we want and need.

It has given us peace of mind on keeping our O365 data backedup at a reasonable price and without a lot of effort

While easy to setup the Veeam app in general can be tricky to navigate

Ensuring we have a separate backup to hold user data in case of accidental or malicious deletion
Veeam for M365 has been nothing but success for our org
What do you like best about the product?
The support is by far the most valuable feature that comes with any Veeam product. I've put in 20 support tickets within a 1.75 year time span and every single time the issue has been resolved promptly, with US based customer service. I am also very satisfied with the reliability and stability of the featureset offered. I often use the Veeam Explorer which is easy to use. It was easy to implement on our existing Veeam appliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam needs to open up to Proxmox support quickly. I understand that there is an integration project in the works but I would like to see this made a top priority.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Office 365 backup and auditing.
One stop, great backup for Microsoft 365 - Very user friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam backup for Microsoft 365 is a very easy to use (recover and backup) backup solution for the enterprise. It was easy to impliment and setup with the aid of thier customer success team. It is great for frequent backups and even one time emergency backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
I mentioned itt was easy to use, once you know the Veeam platform. If you are a new user, do take advantage of thier customer success team to help explain the system to you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This gives us a place to backup emails both onsite and in the cloud for disaster recovery. It also allows me to recover quickly deleted emails or make instant backups for users that leave and need to retain emails for a legal hold.

What do you like best about the product?
The technical functionality was fine. It backed up what eas needed and restores were not a problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam failed to honor the pricing agreement they entered with us until a third party got involved. After that they still refusued to honor the required quantities andeach purchase of additional licences was met with resistance and delays because of an internal approval process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It fills a hole that Microsoft is lacking natively.
