Operating System for All
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using ubuntu OS from last 3 years as a developer and what I liked best about ubuntu are given below:
Ubuntu is free to download and use, and is open source, which means it is free to use, modify, and distribute. Which gives transparency and freedom.
Ubuntu also comes with long-term support, which gives support and updates for upto 5 years.
To keep the system secure from vulnerabilities, patches and upgrades are often given.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although the Ubuntu Software Center has a large number of softwares, but it still fall short and is slow infront of Windows and macOS software store.
Despite Ubuntu's good and user-friendly UI, people who comes from other OS may find it challenging to use terminal commands and other Linux-specific details.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu is a free and open-source, hence it is cost-effective. This cost-effectiveness is a big plus for us. The cost of software licensing is reduced.
For hosting websites, databases, and cloud-based applications, it provides a reliable and scalable infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?
1. The most useful feature of Ubuntu server as i have experienced is that it is an open source OS and provides us the flexibility to customize it according to our needs.

1. Commercial support from Ubuntu is not up to the mark

1. As an open source and cost efficient platform or OS, ubuntu refuces the costs for businesses.

Best OS platform which supports most of development activities

Some features which doesnt support in other Operating systems will be worked here. It mainly useful for development kind of activities

As it mostly used for development but testing willnot support more like windows OS

Best for Development Practices
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu servers are fast and reliable and very easy to use as compared to other tech-servers. The implementation is also very easy with a wide range of features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Ubuntu servers are that they sometimes require a lot of core setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu are the best in handling large softwares without using high RAM consumptions as compared to others. So it eventually saves the operating cost also.
Coding with WSL
What do you like best about the product?
I like coding with Linux environment and Ubuntu never dissappoint! You got to learn to live in the terminal with Ubuntu, I'm using it on Window's WSL and so far i have fun combining the power of both OS.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has always been the GUI, like most Linux OS, the graphics has always been subpar, and Ubuntu is no exception. I hope they won't stop making upgrades to finally get the graphics we deserve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Window's WSL and coding with Ubuntu has been excitingly fast, it uses fewer resources such memory and storage as oppose to running the entire virtual machine. Installing and updating packages has never been easy.

I don't like Ubuntu's updates and patch management system
Some bash commands are really complex and you cannot use Ubuntu without knowing them
Requires configuring any shell script
Too much knowledge required to handle networking
Automation should have been done using GUI

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu desktop is a container image. It can be used in any OS in the world. Even various cloud environment can be configured using it. Also it is open source and free. This any Linux service can be used using the Linux distribution. I can automate processes through CI/CD pipeline using docker at ease. Also I am fluent in networking. Using Ubuntu ethical hacking has become easy for me as an IT developer/specialist.

Some hardware components may not have linux driver available which sometimes leads to compability issues

Since ubuntu server is an cost effective platform for development and testing environment so my previous organization was using it in order to develop and test applications to check it's compatibility into multiple OS.
It also serves as best OS for hosting websites and web applications as it supports software like Apache which make it suitable for running web services

In day to day activities I used Ubuntu server for administration activities which was really helpful than others.
