Auth0 employs hostile/predatory pricing tactics
What do you like best about the product?
The service works well and is rarely down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing. They were already expensive, then they recently raised pricing 300% (from $0.023 to $0.07), including for existing customers. This is unheard of and predatory after customers invested in the platform assuming the prior pricing model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managed customer auth service

Fairly straight forward and good product overall.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Complex pricing for enterprise features
- Pricing has increased dramatically since being aquired by Okta
- Rigid pricing structure

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offloading the work of managing users, privacy and security requirements and integrating more complex features like SSO, MFA and RBAC.
Misusing their position and stopped develop the product
What do you like best about the product?
The product somewhat works, but there are better alternatives and I would not recommend using them unless you are ok paying a premium not getting anything in return.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is not being developed. Even giant bugs that stop your users from logging in take weeks to fix.
They are super expensive; it could look like decent pricing, but when you consider that they deliver no support and have operational issues, I would say they are overpriced.
I want to warn people: if you want your customers to log in with SAML, Azure AD, etc., you must be on the enterprise plan (unless you have less than 3 customers with the need). Enterprise starts at +$35k, depending on MAU. Commercially, they have very junior sales people who say things that are not true on pricing and product.

Login users with Social, SAML and email
Easy to implement Authentication Software
What do you like best about the product?
Its Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) and the anomaly detection work pretty well.
It also supports SSO making it easy to sign up to different applications using the same credentials easily.
It has a lot of customization potential so that you can set the level of security according to you.

What do you dislike about the product?
Its pricing could have been more justified if it was stated at a bit lower price.
The token management process is quite a bit complicated and tedious to perform.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AuthO helps to handle authentication to the data at a big scale pretty well. Its SSO and anomaly detection are very much optimized and help protect the system. Its pre built SDK's and libraries help in the ease of implementation.
Best authentication and authorisation management platform
What do you like best about the product?
Auth0 solves the most critical problem in the development process of creating authentication and managing authorization. It has best-in-class features like universal login single sign-in and multifactor authentication etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Auth0 has very good features which make it very useful but their pricing sometimes makes it difficult to use them for smaller projects. Also, they have decreased their limits inside the free tier. One needed feature is the magic link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inside out projects we have to integrate various kinds of login and signup procedures we are using Auth0 for the authorizations and authentication inside our applications. Also, the single sign-in feature is very useful and used most of the time. Auth0 also gives you log details ass well.
Easy, safe and secure!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the documentation and the SDKs for all programming languages.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any specific dislikes about Auth0.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have not run into any issues with Auth0
Easy to integrate into any of your implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Documentation is really good. And support around the community make sure you will be not lost when you use Auth0. And it has diverse libraries to support any of your implementation or programing language.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any issues yet with the auth0 framework. But I hope there will be more examples and scenarios to use auth0. Hope there will be continuous improvement over the framework.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically the single point of authentication without heavy implementation on auth. With few lines of code you have the authentication to your app.

I used auth0 7 years ago and they were amazing, now they totally suck.
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that they handle all the oauth oidc compliance so I dont have to read every detail of every spec is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nobody responds to their emails. I have 3 emails out to three different salespeople about plans so I can go live with my app. I've been waiting weeks to hear back from any of them. The irony is, is that they were the ones who sent me an email asking if I had any questions in the first place.
Additionally, their support is total crap. They waste your time talking in circles instead of actually understanding your problem and trying to help you solve it. I am soooo disappointed I went with them but I did so because I used them nearly a decade ago on another project. They have since been acquired and the things I like about them, such as responsiveness and competent technical support have completely gone down the drain.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a Web app and Mobile app that consumes a stateless API along with customers with their own 3rd party API clients. I needed something that could provide authentication on all these fronts.
