I liked the pricing , with minimum pricing you are getting too many features and also the customer support is top notch and ready to help you in all the possible ways

User interface needs to be betters, currently is any new person comes and see the software he gets confused, need to have easy interface

Databricks provide DBRX and AI powered inteligence in platform that helps Data Engineering and Analytics team to speedup thier work and also solve complex problems within minutes, implementation of GEN AI (RAG) is very simple in databricks with latest features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Databricks doing great in DATA and AI domain and helping users to solve thier complex issue , adding new builtin sql function will help a lot in data analysis.

Databricks helping Data Analytics team to write the business logic with the help of GENIE where user does not required to know more complex SQL query to extract the info also it helps to create dashboard with AI.

Learning and using Databricks Data Intelligence Platform makes me had a new view about the solution. It's incredible how Databricks can leverage a simple interface with unified solutions for all needs and business cases and known tools with a lot of improved resources that helps us on daily basis like, Predictive I/O, Delta Tables, etc.

At this point, nothing bother me into the platform.

Databricks have been helping integrate BI Tools, like Power BI; colaborate and create queries, scripts and projects with other team mates; deliver a great performance and result response for large queries.

This is an essential feature for our organisation as we used Databricks to enhance our real time fraud detection system in the financial service sector. This has improved security and reduced fraud activities. The real time processing capabilities were also a crucial feature for our use case. Databricks also support multiple languages development, which is a key benefit for our organisation as we have both Python and Scala developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
During a critical phase of the project, we faced few challenges while optimising our Spark jobs. The user interface for cluster management could be improved, as we occasionally face delays when scaling clusters to handle large workloads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our logistic team used Databricks to optimise delivery routes by analysing traffic patterns, fuel consumption and delivery time. By optimising all these things we almost reduced delivery time by 20% and saved significant cost.

I liked their AI Featuire and Data security and governance which i think none of the players in the market is provindg right now in the players also they have the marketplace from which whatever tools we needed we just simply use for ML Models

For instance, alerts for "idle clusters" or "cost hotspots" in our environment could proactively save budgets and improve efficiency.
Simplified Governance and Security - Managing access at fine-grained levels can be cumbersome. For example, controlling who can view versus who can execute a notebook or job often requires workarounds. Audit logs are excellent, but making sense of them for actionable insights sometimes feels like solving a puzzle. Enhanced attribute-based access control (ABAC) and more intuitive UI-based controls for permission management would greatly streamline operations.
