What do you like best about the product?
Debian is stable and secure.
Debian is a Linux-based operating system for a wide range of devices including laptops, desktops and servers. We provide a reasonable default configuration for every package as well as regular security updates during the packages' lifetimes.
Debian has extensive Hardware Support.
Most hardware is supported by the Linux kernel which means that Debian will support it as well. Proprietary drivers for hardware are available if necessary.

The most flexible & readily available linux distribution for free. Open Source at its best
What do you like best about the product?
Debian's docker images are readily available for any flavour of application in different sizes based on server specifications
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of libraries are missing by default and need to be installed over and above. Ex: Sudo
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Any proof of concept to be built in fast time can be built using debian docker images
Recommendations to others considering the product:
i have used community edition of debian and not really sure about the enterprise support of it so please check before using it in a production grade system. Also I have never faced any issues with debian
The stable operating system for your desktop!
What do you like best about the product?
Stability. The system is unbreakable! I have been using Debian for decades but using the "testing" version for the last two years and it is as stable as it gets.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about Debian if you understand that it has been there for 29 years and still rocket solid stable Linux distribution that many distributions are built on
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm currently using bookworm/sid on my desktop, which I use for both personal and business purposes.

Do not be hesitant, you are delaying your happiness!
Amazing Linux Distro
What do you like best about the product?
The UI of the operating system is sleek, a perfect alternative to windows as a desktop or as a server.
What do you dislike about the product?
The update might break it sometimes need to work on stability a bit but I guess it's hard as it is open source.

Using it for my development team as a remote server and as a desktop os

One of the older distributions of linux, and my personal favorite. Good hardware support. And a good desktop as well as server package.

Can be slow for some of the package maintainers to keep up with changes.

Makes affordable server OS for all types of use cases.

What do you like best about the product?
Being in an IT industry, an open source OS is the best tool in order to write and execute day to day coding. This OS comes with pre-installed tools that is best to write codes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its abit less user friendly when you are a fresher. But as you work on this Operating system, it will become more and more beneficial and easy to learn. The main task is to not switch if you're not able to handle it in the start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are alot of benifit with this operating system:
a) Its an open source operating system so writing and executing codes as per the requirement is excellent.
b) Also we don't have to buy different software as they're all available for free.

Memory management and kernel stability are very impressive. It's highly customized and has a high level of encryption and security support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is a step; some new users may find it challenging to adapt to it.

It can be easily configurable with various hardware; this makes it very much flexible to use.

It's easy to install, has a smaller footprint for lightweight applications, easy to administer. A

In my experience, you do need a little more low level knowledge of Linux, but that's not too bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for a POS kiosk I developed. It does everything that Windows does with a much lower cost of acquisition.
Linux Distro as Windows Alternative
What do you like best about the product?
This is a great and free linux distro for those times you want to use linux instead of windows but do not want to Ubuntu

Not able to easily run Windows software without some kind of app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This used as an free alternative to Windows OS and is great for computers that are running older hardware for donation computers to help families one computer at a time.
