Good efficient no-SQL datastore
What do you like best about the product?
Efficient engine, can be in-memory cache and highly optimized sharding structure and scaling makes up for great performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations and inability to deploy to on-premise and cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JSON based APi for front end SPA and back.

We've just started with MongoDB but setup has been pretty easy and using it has been great so far.
What do you like best about the product?
Designing Schemas was very super super fast
What do you dislike about the product?
I was not able to find as much documentation as I would like

What do you like best about the product?
Coming from a traditional relational db background, I appreciate the performance and operational benefits of using Mongo DB. We use a lot of unstructured data and have been using Mongo as our store and it has been a good fit
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of our data is unstructured and needs to be searchable. I am looking for ways to optimize our lookups. Better tooling support would certainly be appreciated. We do use explain plans though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As stated above we use it mostly to store unstructed documents

What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to get up and running with mongo and most languages I use have libraries that make it very fast to develop for. It also performs very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't seem as easy to manage in cloud environments as the build in offerings. Also the GUI tools to connect to it that I have used such as robomongo are very lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to store data for micro services. I like how fast and simple to use it is especially for situations where I only need to store simplistic data.

Simple setup and admin. Mongo is easy to set up and manage. Understanding the use cases and limitations is also pretty easy to understand

MongoDB doesnt fit in all business cases, please verify if your cases are been covered with schemaless data structures

We have used it for Pub/Sub use case and storing unstructured data. It works well for querying unstructured data.
