DB of choice for startup
What do you like best about the product?
As an early stage startup, we found that MongoDB was the best choice for our main platform. Its scalability and flexibility was invaluable to us as a company in its early stages of development..
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of us were unaccustomed to noSQL databases, which took a significant amount of time to become familiar with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're connecting property owners with real estate agents. Benefits include flexibility and scalability.

MongoDB - bringing it all in
What do you like best about the product?
With MongoDB, our company was able to rapidly develop and deploy enterprise solutions to problems that had been plaguing the company for years. The ability to easily install and configure on any platform was a major plus as well as the ease of integration into applications with useful libraries made it all the more easier to adopt.
What do you dislike about the product?
One gripe our developers have is about Compass. They don't feel the UI is as intuitive as it could be. The only other issue we've had is with some transactional error messages which don't point specifically to the problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
See above. We are building a common digital platform for business operations around the world, both customer facing and internal. We were able to drastically reduce login time for one of our existing platforms from almost 20 seconds down to under a second.

We have been using Mongo for rapid prototyping and found it to be easy to use.

Nothing. I've been using this for a wile now, and pretty much covers all I want from a database product.

Used in several projects: CMS, RCM, ECommerce, web application back-end, mobile back-end.
Mongo DB is a no sql db that is faster and agile from the traiditional databases

Document data model is the natutal model for storing data

transaction management is not as great as traditional rdbms
