Keep your connection secure with OpenDNS
What do you like best about the product?
What we love most about OpenDNS umbrella is that it has a modern and intuitive interface. At the time we had to do an update of a system prior to this and it was very easy and comfortable to do. It complies with all the features it offers and our company has done very well in terms of security for users or employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The truth is that we do not have many negative things to say about this program, in the time that we have used it in our company it has been very useful, however we can mention that sometimes there are often delays when it comes to carrying out searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpenDNS has given our company quality and security in the network and servers through the DNS and at the same time we have a better connection. We have been able to protect the vegation of our customers and workers from unsafe sites and even deceptive advertising by using navigation monitoring. Without a doubt, OpenDNS is what a company needs.

What do you like best about the product?
In the company many personal data is handled and it is important to have an effective and well protected security, that is why the Umbrella service was installed and it has helped us to have everything safe
Predicts the threats that can occur and alerts on pages that when entering can have malware and expand in the system and damage data and even app that are installed
I liked that before starting to pay a plan they give the opportunity to have a free trial to know how the platform works and if it is good or bad

What do you dislike about the product?
Managing the program is a bit complicated, since the beginning of the configuration is complex but with the help of the tutorials you can configure it well and correctly so that it works without problems

It is a very good software that serves very well the security it provides but it comes into conflict with pages that are reliable and that I have used for years and it shows me alert on that page I do not know on what basis to determine the reliability of the page but when they are pages that I recognize from a long time ago I open it otherwise and I do not pay attention to DNS Umbrella

The customer service seems to take a while to respond because if I communicate with them it is because I want to solve the problem once and not until they respond, they have answered me up to two or three days and when I have solved the problem on my own

Open DNS was very easy to set up and use. We were able to implement this web security service in less than a day! It was also quite simple to determine which type of content was blocked from web browsing.

I can't think of anything about this program that I dislike. There are no issues that come to mind that couldn't possibly be attributed to internet connectivity issues on our side.

Viruses, phishing attempts, spam, and malicious attacks on software used by our company have not been an issue at all since we picked up Open DNS.

This service is perfect for even the smallest or simplest operations. The parental controls, content blockers, and filters are all super helpful.

A not lesser scope that could be improved in this tool is the ability to work with low-end equipment since its security is currently quite weak if you do not have a robust equipment.

The biggest problem we had in the company was the viruses that spread through networks or websites, since we have free Wi-Fi in our vehicles and customers often infected the remote terminals in the cars, which was a big problem but Now it does not happen a long time since the implementation of this tool.
