What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to deploy through DNS Pointing, agents, AutoVpns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, Umbrella meets all key SSE Requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DNS-Layer Security soluton and full proxy features from the Cloud.

Provides good network protection
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is user-friendly and Cisco Umbrella can be easily integrated with the suite of security tooling both from Cisco and other service providers. In addition, the customer support and training documentation is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
The price-point and licensing cost for Cisco Umbrella is high. In addition, when integrated as a set of tooling, Cisco Umbrella can be very expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cisco Umbrella helps in blocking the malicious DNS queries and hence helps the team safeguard the overall infrastructure. In addition, category-based URLs can be blocked with the click of a button.

Fast and efficient solution to avoid cyberattacks
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about this solution is that it does not require any type of installation, it is all in the cloud! It has also helped me avoid entering web pages that are used for cyber attacks.
What do you dislike about the product?
False positives sometimes complicate things a bit because they prevent you from entering pages that I know are okay, but other than that, it is an excellent solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a secure DNS has allowed us to browse safely from anywhere and on any device. This helped a lot, since starting with the pandemic, we all started working remotely, but maintaining the security that being in the office gave us.
Layered security
What do you like best about the product?
It helps protect a layer that is highly abused by attackers, bots, ransomware, and other DNS manipulation attacks. It's also adds a layer of visibility into internet usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's new portal, most likely it has to do with the transition for Cisco's SSO platform, but I sometimes have issues logging in, and having to manually input the dashboard url after the fact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Protecting our users from most malicious sights, phishing attempts, and ransomware. Over all the amount of security events related to ransomware and/or credential harvests have significantly been reduced since our implementation of Unbrella accroas all of our clients.
DNS With Ease
What do you like best about the product?
Umbrella provides a broad range of tools and features that allow administrators to achieve many security gaps accross their tennant. It is very easy to use and learn from this application.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time I haven't experienced anything that I dislike about this product. Though with any product their is always the opportunity for growth and enhancement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to see who is accesing what sites/applications accross our network. Then based off those findings we close any gaps security wise to improve overall network stability.
An Intelligent Cloud Network Security Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Cisco Umbrella is a cloud-based security solution that is simple to deploy and maintain, regardless of the scale of your IT system. It doesn't require any major changes to your current infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
NA - Nothing much however, it would be helpful if Cisco Umbrella had some packet capturing capabilities to make troubleshooting blocked websites and other issues easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the Cisco Umbrella uses DNS to block malicious traffic before it reaches the network itself, it prevents Malware and Cyber attacks. Using its web security features, it also shields you from phishing attempts and helps in locating and managing shadow IT.
When it works it’s great but not worth it
What do you like best about the product?
It does protect against phishing sites and botnet attacks. When it works the web security gateway and dns security protect against a lot of attacks plus we use any connect so it can integrate with that.
What do you dislike about the product?
We ran into so many issues with this product especially the agent crashing and virtually leaving no protection. We also had so many false positives in blocking nonmalicious sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides dns and web security for all our users and gives remote protection when not connected to the internet on worklaptops. We can see what sites are getting blocked and if users click on phishing emails.

The security that provides by a Cisco it is amazing it provides an additional line of defense against malicious software I feel show secure while using this app

No, while I am using this there is nothing which i dislike in the software i like very much and i love with the security features of this software.
