Streamlined process to achieve SOC2
What do you like best about the product?
Integrations with various cloud providers
What do you dislike about the product?
We can probably improve notifications/alerts a little bit more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to get a SOC2 compliant. Less hassle to provide the proof for each control.

SOC audit preparation made MUCH easier
What do you like best about the product?
All the policies you need pre-written by experienced auditors. Easy to track acceptance of policies by your team. General ease of use of the platform - lots of time-saving and risk-reducing features. Friendly and helpful team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I've got nothing. Drata has significantly improved our SOC processes.

What do you like best about the product?
Drata plays a vital role in our journey towards SOC2 compliance. It is easy to track the onboarding status of employees. Seeing the green checkmark on Drata, makes me happy. I like how Drata agent pulls in the required information and makes it easier for the employees to complete their tasks. I am also impressed with Drata team's quick response to our queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Drata is an amazing compliance tool. One issue I noticed is that background checks require a lot manual effort and Drata doesn't accept certain documents. e.g: PR card as proof.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool to help the organization become SOC2 compliant and Drata has been everything we were looking for.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how automated it is. Their customer success team is fantastic. As someone who had to figure out our SOC-2 posture frantically, they put me at ease with tools and talent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I dislike, honestly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to work toward compliance, and we needed to do it quickly. As a small company, I dreaded going into it alone. They helped me understand what was possible speedily and of course, offered the tools and guidance I needed to get up and running quickly. I love showing our clients our policies and that our systems and processes are regularly monitored. They put me in touch with an auditor, too, completing our compliance route.
A great tool to automate and maintain the process of SOC2 audit
What do you like best about the product?
For me, as a CTO that leads the process of the SOC2 audit in our conpany, Drata alleviates all the management of the assets, the controls management and employee onboarding with a streamlined and very simple to use interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
With us using Drata, I am still required to work with external consultants to help me manage the audit with the auditors and to provide guidance for the best ways to tackle different aspects of the audit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me manage the technical things that would normally be managed via Excell sheets and screen shots.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the UI, it's very clean, nice looking, and understandable. I really like how we can use it as a unification tool for compliance, keeping all of our policies in the same location that we sign off on them is very convenient. I'm looking forward to having audits go smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love that the connection to background checks requires a lot of manual interaction. We do background checks with Checkr before hiring a candidate so its always completed before they are in the Drata system, this makes it so we have to individually status each person instead of it being detected automatically. I realize that this is probably completely a limitation of Checkr.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
With Drata, I do not need to go to multiple subsystems to get the evidence of maintaining compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is the lack of some integrations that are mainstream.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and implementation, very straight forward and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Appears to be the odd sync issue across some of the employees and compliance, but it seems to be intermittent and self-correcting over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparing for your SOC 2 Type 2 certification.

The platform has a clean layout, the customer success team is engaged, support is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major, but I would like more notification features (Slack, etc) as well as reporting features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata helps us simplyfy and visualize our compliance stance, giving us actionable items to build out our security and foster trust with our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Drata is able to integrate with many of our systems and provide automated continuous compliance monitoring of our security controls. This allows us to easily identify items that fall out of compliance. The breadth of integrations won us over.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can have some challenges or jankiness at times. Typically this is the result of a capability being built for MVP and not yet fully-fledged. The response from feedback is very strong and often I find my suggestions in the product next month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal audit of SOC2 controls can be timely and burdensome. Nothing is great unless it has an owner and Drata allows someone to own oversight and monitoring of our SOC2 program as a part of their work instead of as their job. This benefits our security team greatly so they can spend more time on other aspects of our security posture instead of tickbox exercises that a machine can do (such as ensuring proper configuration of employees' laptops).
The value from Drata is increased security through the use of continuous monitoring streamlining many SOC2 controls. Areas that are not automatically monitored are able to be tracked manually. Drata is an extremely comprehensive system that has dramatically improved our SOC2 program.
