Backup, replicate and restore data
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup and Replication is the best solution for backup the servers, VM machines and all the OS and data base storage. Using Veeam can create automatically replications for DR sites local back locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the run simulation processes some time could not process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backup our all the virtual servers we are using Veeam Backup and Replication, using Veeam we can backup and restore all backups as we need. We can create automated backup jobs for, when the process run it backup only updated data.

Simple and free backup application, better than Windows Server backup.
What do you like best about the product?
Once the Veeam server is installed, you will be able to direct all your highlights from one machine. You can maneuver a defense plan and add your work time / servers to this project. This program is quite simple to install, configure and use. Simple to use, simple to direct backups, totally free. Executed everything you need. Make a backup of your Windows machine or server. It works both tangible and virtual. Function-rich program that is continuously updated / updated. The attention to the user is very excellently organized and helps you find the solution to your inconvenience in a prudently fast way.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not allowed to run backups compatible with the application. For example, it is not allowed to locate SQL log documents. There are also no open schedules. The fearlessness of inconveniences can make study of the elimination records, since the failures tend to be of generic origin. While Veeam is working hard to debug this program, it still has failures. There is not so much that I do not like this program. Find that the backup process made resources fragile on selected servers. I could not examine the reason for using the resource many times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It generates an exact solution for non-VM computers and for our own computers in our population of personnel that require backup defense. The price of the software is obvious, although there are more choices with several functions available. It is more comfortable and secure than the Windows native backup utility and leaves a standard document backup from an effigy backup.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Always remember to create the recovery ISO, that way you can replace your computer to any other device.
Amazing Backup solution
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup & Replication is a great solution for auto data backup process, lot of great features are there. very user friendly software, implementation very easy. once the backup process completed zoom sends the notification to configured email address. we can see the backup process also. Backup restoration process also easy, in-case of emergence time, we can restore the back easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike, comparing with other products Veeam backup price is high. annual licence price is high
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam Backup very helpful for us, we are sending the sever backups to DR site via Veeam software. very realizable software. each and every activity we can set the email notification. powerful software. very light software. won't take computer memory much.

What do you like best about the product?
This product is very easy to use. The configuration and setup was simple. Licensing is very inexpensive, compared to another solution we've been using.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have only been using this product for a little over 1 month, but so far I don't have anything negative to say about it. We've tested restores, and it handle the job very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this for vm replication and data backup at our smaller secondary campus. This product also has the ability to replicate to another server at our main data center for disaster recovery.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth trying. The implementation took less than 1 hour, and has options for disaster recovery.
A great software to backup and replicate your data
What do you like best about the product?
We have many Virtual machines and we use Veeam Backup & Replication to take those VM’s backups. Also, we use it to replicate backups to a remote location and we have tape backup also. Creating backup jobs, replication jobs, and tape jobs are straightforward. Implementation was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it failed to replicated when hard disk drive getting low. Other than that I have not noticed any major issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An organization should keep backups of their servers, endpoints in case of system failure. Veeam Backup & Replication is an excellent and fully functional backup and recovery solution an organization must have.

One of the best backup solutions you can buy. The best part is how easy to is to setup and actually do backups. Its basically on autopilot and you really cant beat that. I highly recommend this to everyone

Easy free backup tool, better than Windows Server Backup
What do you like best about the product?
Once you install Veeam server then you will be able to manage all of your endpoints from ONE console. You can create a protection plan and add your workstation/servers into this plan.. This software is really easy to install, configure and use. Easy to use, easy to manage backups, completely free. It does what it needs to do. Backup your Windows computer or server. Works both physical and virtual. Feature rich product that is constantly being updated/ upgraded. Customer support is well organized and will help you reasonably quickly find the solution to your problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
No application aware backups possible. For instance, not possible to trunk SQL log files. Also no multiple schedules available. Troubleshooting can involve sifting through Debug logs, as errors tend to be generic in nature. While Veeam is working hard on de-bugging this software, it still has bugs. There isn't much I don't like about this software.I did find that the backup process consumed resources in an inconsistent manner on select servers. I was unable to diagnose the cause of the resource usage several times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a point solution for non-VM machines and to individual machines in our staff population that need backup protection. The value of the software is apparent though there are more feature-rich options available. It's more flexible and reliable that Windows native backup utility and it allows for file level backups from an image backup.

Don't forget to create the recovery ISO, that way you can restore your machine to any other device.
Best VMware backup and monitoring package on the market
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of setup, backup creation, restoration, and monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing about this product that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve all of our virtualization backup needs with the Veeam Availability Suite.

Do you backup virtualization workloads? There is no better product.
DraaS Veeam Great Backup
What do you like best about the product?
The product is easy to install and run in a native cloud environment on AWS. Then pushing the backup to an S3 bucket, and then Glacier could stoeage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is nice but could be more intuitive for backing up VM's and terabytes of data. I think the console for installation needs some work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to backup Outlook, Sharepoint, and Visio files for my corporate customers as the it admin.

People should look at AWS and Azure for doing backups on Veeam DraaS
