What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can ask questions and if Watson cannot figure it out it will connect you with a live chat.
Watson-If I am not able to find an answer, you can request the following:
- 'open a case'
- check 'case status'
- 'talk to an agent'

Sometimes it Watson will get hung up...keep trying different ways to ask the question.

Great product with a Bonus: small price tag!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to make changes, and even easier to get support through IBM, which has been a fabulous surprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Any MDM comes with lots of complicated settings. MaaS is no different, but the level of complication also means that it is extremely friendly to your unique situation and can be customized to do exactly what you need it to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HIPAA-compliance with mobile devices was a NIGHTMARE before MaaS. Now, we can remotely lock, track, wipe, and guarantee HIPAA-compliance with all of our devices. This is as bulletproof as it gets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it, just make sure you have direct contact with IBM support. Third-party support can't compete with direct IBM support. Working with the IBM team is like having a dozen magicians in your back pocket. Third party can still access IBM support but it gets a little complicated. We have worked with both ways and I prefer being able to contact IBM directly. I swear those guys eat, sleep, and breathe this product. It is phenomenal. Compared to other products, this is a fabulous price with very little initial investment other than your own time. Build yourself a knowledge base and you're good to go on a shoestring budget.

Easy to use platform. Very good for mdm mobile management . Compatible with Apple configurator ,Apple Business Program.

Interface updates. Password needs to be put twice before confirming action.

Secure Container Application for Company Data
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and configuration with user licenses is what stands out to me. The Cloud Extender which syncs our users from active directory makes searching for specific users incredibly simple and makes my job as an administrator that much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like with everyone 2-factor authentication application, hiccups can arise. We've had issues with licenses not being pushed out as well as having difficulties in first setting up The Cloud Extender.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, MaaS360 has allowed us to safely let users check into their work data on their mobile devices. We don't have to worry about sensitive materials being compromised even when the mobile device (almost all BYOD) is lost.

What do you like best about the product?
All devices laid out in extremely digestible way when trying to when reports or just read - the portal is pretty simple to navigate as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
interface and the fact that not everything is clear - you either need IT knowledge or help to understand a whole number of things and how to set up policies etc etc. I don't like the fact that it does not work unless the Maas360 app is installed on the device. Location services also not great. The DEP and Maas360 connection isn't always brilliant either. I have a couple of phones stuck in login mode as they are locked with DEP but have been removed from Maas360 I cannot login anymore so a better communication and maybe shared technicians between DEP and Maas360 would be a good idea.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alerts for data usage, record of devices, possibility to wipe them out, reset passcodes etc. Generally I like having more control over company devices as not every employee is responsible and some of them forget their passcodes and need my help to reset.

Get your IT support to do the set up and explain everything

What do you like best about the product?
Good support. Secure Product. The ease of deployment to devices. Support is able to assist due to them having access to the back end of our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not encountered anything that I dislike about this product so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a secure container for us to control mobile devices and access to corporate devices. This also allows us to force users to install major patches and versions of apps and the OS of the mobile devices.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great product. Deploying was simple and quick with the assistance of professional services. The environment is easy to maintain with IBM MaaS360 hosting your environment.

What do you like best about the product?
The Unified Endpoint Management suite is compatible for integration with IBM SIEM QRadar Incident Forensics, Log Manager, Vulnerability Manager, Network Insights, UBA, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The complex training for Security professionals of IBM MaaS UEM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An integrated product helps in the correlation of data points, facts, conclusions arriving quite rapidly to a practical solution for the issue at hand.
Much needed functionality and control over our growing mobile phones
What do you like best about the product?
We have a diverse staff, office-based and out in the community, with a range of skills with IT/phones. IBM MaaS360 will help us to more effectively monitor phone use, and thereby provide more effective support to our service users (people with learning disabilities). It will help us manage our resources more effectively, and meet data protection obligations.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest I don't find the interface very intuitive - little things like, for example, when adding an app ID, it isn't immediately obvious how to 'add' - the plus sign is above the field. The layout seems awkward and difficult to distinguish sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving money on staff going over their data allowance, managing the apps allowed through the policy - which is really very useful. Essentially keeping track of who has what phone, and therefore who is accountable for its use. Ensuring we are effectively protecting our own data and crucially, that of our service users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This software provides amazing functionality and is exactly what we need. I haven't found the interface that user-friendly though. We've had practical issues with implementation which have a lot to do with the dispersed nature of our work, but getting a handle on the software has been slow. Our most recent experience of traning with IBM support staff was very positive however, and I'm hopeful we can move forward more quickly from this point.
