Great solution for managing devices
What do you like best about the product?
It supports any kind of mobile device and has a wide range of settings for many types of businesses starting from office workers to hotel guests and staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Login security is quite tight but has been better lately for us. Still requires password inputs in places not necessary to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Made it easier to manage our mobile devices remotely and much lower costs to manage than without. The more time passes the better the interface has become. We hope to have full 100% control of our devices in the future.

No real problems at all. Everything has gone very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NO problems. The new software is very simple to use and the website is intuitive, quite refreshing compared to what we were used to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't hesitate, the system works well and the support is outstanding.
It has been good, but clunky since moving to O2 support

Quick response times on the chat. albeit is a little bit difficult to understand how this now links with O2.

inconsistency with support & who will help - some are very quick to help, and others less so & are reluctant to.

Perfect tool for controlling & securing data
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using this tool for 2 years now and have never looked back, historically we were always going over on our data budget and had numberous employees whom would say that they had know idea of how this was happening,
Once we tool control and blocked Facebook,Netflix, yotube ect on the works phone our data was no more issue!
for me this is a fantastic tool that fits in with work brilliantly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instantly resolved overspend on data resulting in ever increasing bills.
Useful but not crucial
What do you like best about the product?
I can see what devises I have in the field how up to date they are, and what their status is without physically having the hardware in hand.
What do you dislike about the product?
No all the API's are available for locking down completely on the phones. Etc. you cannot take the option for turning mobile data away. User can still turn it on and off but they get a noncompliance notification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility of software/status without having the hardware in hand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Being able to view all devises setup in one place, and monitor them. Being able to help a user in the field armed only with the information I have in front of me.

Easy to use, great functionality, we have all that we can expect from a MDM software

Maybe the high number of times that we are requested to introduce our password for any change.

The MaaS360 portal is very user friendly. If we publish a policy it is almost instantly pushed to the devices and the support from IBM is great.
The portal is easy to set up and easy to upgrade to another license model.
If you are unable to resolve an issue or have questions about your configuration there is no issue either. Where other vendors are having problems with their support is MaaS360 not facing these issues at all.
On the support page you can follow your own tickets and contact the support engineers. If the support engineers are unable to resolve your issue they will escalate it to the development team.
Overall: The support is great and the portal itself is very user friendly.

Difficult tickets might take a while to resolve. Other than that i don't see any downsides.

MaaS360 is helping us and our customers to manage our/their devices.
With this we are able to give the users the applications and configurations they need to do their work.

Give MaaS360 a try. It is worth it to ask IBM for the free MaaS360 trial.

What do you like best about the product?
We were able to easily enroll mobile devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though MaaS360 is advertised as a UEM solution, enrolling Windows 10 devices was not a simple process. We also wanted to package up and deploy COTS for deployment but that also was a convoluted process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By enrolling our mobile devices, we were able to have visibility on all company-owned devices.
After some teething troubles this is working well for us.
What do you like best about the product?
Once you've spent time on configuration, regsitering devices is pretty easy and provides us with some peace of mind in an environment where people can be very careless about their I.T life.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some configuration quirks, where different platforms allow different controls. It's difficult to restrict and Android device in the same way as an iOS device, for instance. I don't know if that's simply because of the difference in the Operating systems, so I'm not really pointing the finger at MaaS360!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Encouraging staff to be GDPR compliant has been challenging - we have used MaaS360 to kerb a few bad habits as well and make sure we're covering all the legal bases. MaaS360 is the only platform we've used that can manage all the devices we encounter.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
From our use of it, it certainly ticks a lot of boxes when it comes to device security and dealing with theft/loss.
