Very good product
What do you like best about the product?
Very useful portal enabling good control over business mobile devices
What do you dislike about the product?
Was hoping to have certs managed for Macbooks for secure wifi. Functionality wasn't what we were looking for
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently using only a fraction of the product. Good peace of mind being able to remotely wipe handsets

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that the end user has their own environment and doesn't use a shared tenancy.
Chat support tends be good.
Account manager can setup support sessions with senior MaaS tech when required.

What do you dislike about the product?
No in-built remote support feature - this requires a TeamViewer licence per device.
Other MDM's include this feature.
I think the location features could be improved.
Also issues around using a shared data pool, unable to insert correct values .

Lockdown via kiosk mode, distribution of apps.

Distribution of applications, documents & policies help to create a seamless solution for controlling and managing mobile devices.
Ability to create unique groups & apply different policies.

Takes a while to setup policies as their is such a vast amount you can change, some settings could do with more explanation or links to better support guides online.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to stop users over spending data, control over application on device, able to remove accounts & use teamviewer to remote support all through one portal.

It can be as simple or complicated as you would like, very easy to personalise and suit your company needs

being able to control the mobile device estate from one location and provide support to our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The error message that sometimes occurs but not knowing what they mean.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it has been able to support our user over a multiple areas in our business. as our busniess is not generic we can use different policies on different devices to help our user deliver for the business.
Excellent Features
What do you like best about the product?
Having used a variety of MDM products in the past I’ve come to the conclusion that mass has the best mix of features with ease-of-use and functionality features much richer than rival products
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really only a few downsides I find the ease of use of some of the features could be better but as is the nature with this kind of software it’s a mix of form and function I’m sure this is an ongoing adjustment from IBM

We have been able to manage a mobile infrastructure much better in one tool than it has been possible in the past with a variety of other products

best mix of features with ease-of-use and functionality features much richer than rival products
A comprehensive product with great customer service!

The control it provides over mobile devices is excellent and the dashboard makes it easy to monitor compliance with security policies and GDPR requirements.

Navigation through the functions and app store could perhaps be slicker

Maas360 has enabled the company to bring all mobile devices under control to improve security and assist with GDPR compliance
Great Set Up help, easy to use for non technical user
What do you like best about the product?
Fanststic help setting it up dureing the free trial period so we were ready to roll it out swiftly

Allowing access to the phones in built apps in kiosk wasnt very intuitive

Device managment, no more dats wasted on unathorised use or apps
The most unuser friendly software/system I have ever used.

Struggling to think of 1 positive thing to say about it.

The system is not easy to use, the support is next to non existent.
One phone has bene lost/stolen and I tried numerous times to retrieve the phones location and received out dated information on its whereabouts. I have now lost a phone due to this incorrect information. I interviewed a driver due to this information which was incorrect. Causing huge embarrassment. I cannot access and update my devices, I have been waiting for help with setting up devices for over a month. The handsets are on my desk unable to be used.
One device has been reset to factory settings making all my Maas360 settings redundant.
Another device got stuck into Kiosk mode which was unable to be used for over a week until someone got back to me about how ot get it out of said mode.

I have tried to terminate my contract as it is useless and not user friendly. There is nothing positive I can say about this system.

Do not use this system.

I like the ease in which it deploys to iOS devices

Lots of problems with old Androids phones which continue to get stuck and had to be reset in order to load two Maas apps

It has improved my management of our mobile assets, and exposed problems with how users take care of our devices.

As an operator customer reselling MaaS360 the product is easy for our end-customers to install and use.
It is feature rich combining capability normally associated with different products. As it is cloud based it automatically updates all it's customers to the latest version.

Consider your business requirements for device management across all device types: smartphones, tablets, laptops etc - MDM/MAM, threat management, data control. Would one solution meet all of these requirements.
What kind of in-life management do you envisage, i.e. who is going to day-to-day manage the MDM deployment. Would Watson have a beneficial role in this?
