Big savings with little effort
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity, small learning curve, automation and clarity
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface sometimes is laggy and requires hard refresh (f5)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Infrastructure costs, and allowing our developers to manage the costs themselves (tool)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test on dev first, provide as a trial to your developers so they can test and love the product. Later you will not have to convince the management to implement it globally in your org

Its very user friendly and cost effective
What do you like best about the product?
We can search the server - using citrix name or ES name also. and to run the server just give hrs. for how much time do you want the server need to be run. its very easy to find out which server is parked, which is running , which is suspended.
This is a new 3rd party tool we are using to manage costs within Azure by helping to automate the scheduling of server uptime/downtime.

What do you dislike about the product?
Before this we were using the azure machines to run up the servers. now its very useful tool so didn't find the dislike yet. Just to say something here, we need to run the server again after the hrs are ended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of the servers were scheduled to turn off at 8pm Eastern. that was no longer be the case, they will instead be turned off by default and can be turned on by any user for a specified period of time, at the end of which it will be turned back off. This is bit easier to turn servers on, as they’ve been grouped into logical environment names. Instead of logging into the Azure Portal and finding the servers you need, you’ll login to PMC and just find the environment. It will turn on all the servers as needed.
Very helpful to reduce the cost
What do you like best about the product?
the parking recommendation management module give very valuable information
What do you dislike about the product?
Not so far, everything is pretty good. I donot remember all the details now. it took a while to get the account
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
to save the cost
Cost saving product
What do you like best about the product?
best part of this product is rightsizing part which help to reduce the cost more than the scheduling.
no need to use multiple product to manage your sizing.
no need to use multiple product to manage your sizing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I will suggest that the all machines which are managed by Park My Cloud will visible to other group as well so the will come to know if dependent machine is running or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
managing user access and scheduling and rightsizing for machines
Recommendations to others considering the product:
you are doing good job don't have to suggest much as I am working on this form last 4 months definitely I will get back to you in future with my recommendation
The service that keeps getting beter.
What do you like best about the product?
The quick pace of development of new features. Every time you log in, things have improved.
The cloud often changes fast, but those changes are not always an improvement. That's not the case with ParkMyCloud, they really seem to think through about their roadmap.
Excellent help and support.
Frequent tips and best practices
Non-intrusive newsletters with real features, not the marketing department having a go at you.

What do you dislike about the product?
The free account does not allow you to try out multiple clouds. It's paramount to get this setup with the trial, otherwise, you are missing out for sure.
The trial could also be a bit longer for my liking.
It's not a click of a button to get your cloud accounts connected in there. It's much harder than it sounds, and it's different on every cloud platform. But that's not really ParkMyClouds fault really.

The cloud is not cheap. But ParkMyCloud will help you make your money to be used in the most efficient way.
The cloud is all about automation. But it's not always clear how to make best use of the automation power of the cloud platforms. Parkmycloud definitely improves your view on what's going on.
When using multiple clouds, you can't do this right without a dashboard to bind them all together. There is no way to get a real overview of what's going on. ParkMyCloud really shines in that department.

ParkMyCloud review by a normal user
What do you like best about the product?
For the servers under your control you can easy navigate to the different options and you see the cost of each server directly. If you need more/less memory/cpu you directly see the cost/savings.
online help is easy to access and available

What do you dislike about the product?
The (potential) saving part takes a relative big part of the screen in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Turn off servers outside of business hours ( for us these are mainly acceptance servers)
Park My Cloud for Running ETLS
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of scheduling the VM's to run on and off when needed in Google
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit difficult to work with AWS. AWS VM's are a bit difficult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling with AWS is a bit difficult
Great way to manage EC2 Usage
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and easy to learn. Shows us right away how much its saving
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is having to pay extra but the cost for PMC is minimal
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use AWS mostly for development so it is vital to only have resources running when they are in use. ParkMyCloud lets us manage this very easily. Prior to PMC, we were using custom scripting in AWS. This worked alright but was labour intensive to maintain.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It was so easy to implement, I don't have many recommendations. The feature to override the schedule is nice since it quickly allows after-hours work without worrying about paying for usage while you sleep
Great timesaver for testing accounts
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily park and unpark servers has been invaluable for saving money on test servers for our on-premise offering. ParkMyCloud also offers a great api that has allowed us to automate much of this work so developers can work on our product and not on a service we use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be somewhat clunky and unintuitive in some cases. In particular, overriding parking schedules can be a bit backwards and lead to accidental parking of servers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization traditionally spins up testing servers for our on-premise software on various cloud providers. Developers may forget to turn these servers off when not using them, and they typically aren't used outside of working hours. Being able to automatically shut them down is key to driving down our own costs as we build software for our customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Rather than implementing the complex logic in-house, lean/small teams should consider using on ParkMyCloud to help drive down costs.
Good product and easy to deploy
What do you like best about the product?
The idea is unique , the deployment of the product is easy and not too many configurations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s some exceptional case where users are using some vm’s during the schedule that i triggered to park those VM’s. What happens users are logged out and they complain about that.
If there’’s away to check that there are users logged in during that time or there are high memroy or cpu usage above average, that would be nice.
Park mycloud need to work the same with GCP like AWS. I know AWS is more common but GCP is trending now.
Finally more reports are needed with more details.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not using it now. But the problems was stated in the upper question. The benefits the idea is not common and saves a lot of money and easy to use not complicated to use.
