Inefficient (too many clicks!)
What do you like best about the product?
As you would expect of an EAM system: manage, trend asset history, receive work requests, plan, schedule and execute/document work performed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maximo is terribly inefficient for the end user - i.e., the sheer number of clicks to complete a single operation; the amount of tabs/sub-tabs and pages to scroll through, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I find IBM Maximo software to be an incredibly powerful and versatile tool. I appreciate the software's capability to monitor and manage orders on the job and track facility operations, which can help me streamline maintenance procedures. I also find the software's interface very comfortable and practical, making it easy to navigate and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect of the IBM Maximo software that could be improved is the loading time between different modules. Although not excessively long, faster switching between modules would enhance the user experience. Furthermore, since the software is self-hosted, there are times when the tool can be slow due to server issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing a maintenance plan based on sequence has greatly simplified our lives. We utilize it to manage expenses, monitor consumer requests, and track asset management tickets, resulting in significant benefits for us.

What do you like best about the product?
We recently implemented IBM Maximo into our asset management process and have been delighted with the results. Initially, we worried it would be too complicated for our staff to learn, but that couldn't have been farther from the truth. The software is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to manage many assets. Our clients have also found it very helpful, and they appreciate how quickly they can get up to speed on its features. We are pleased with IBM Maximo!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users find IBM Maximo challenging to set up and configure due to its high level of customization. While this provides many capabilities, it also means that setting it up for a specific use case may be time-consuming and require a lot of effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maximo's key advantage is its centralized platform that can manage various aspects of an organization's assets, including tracking their maintenance history, location, and condition. I've been utilizing Maximo to manage our equipment and work order requests for the past three years, and I'm happy with the software's ease of use and the quality of reports it generates. Its maintenance history reports have been beneficial for me in predicting equipment failures.

a mejor característica sin duda alguna es la de filtrar las Ordenes de Trabajo creadas por áreas de Mantenimiento, y también saber quién le hace seguimiento a una Orden de Trabajo ya creada.

Lo difícil que es usarlo en exploradores móviles, cuesta mucho adaptarse a lo mal coordinado que se ve todo desde dentro de la aplicación, incluso llega a caerse mucho si la intranet es inestable.

Este software resuelve mucho la verdad, le muestra a mi supervisor directo cuán productivo soy y cuántas horas de mi tiempo son invertidas en mi trabajo durante mis turnos asignados.

What do you like best about the product?
We can leverage EAM at market-leading levels and apply industry models with enhanced mobility and relability. IBM Maximo comes with AI-powered monitoring and provides predictive maintenance features. The licensing is simple and we have great flexibility with multi-cloud environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user-interface is confusing and not all modules are intuitive to integrate. The loading time between the modules is also large and switching between browsers for different tasks is required.

We use IBM for CMMS, EAM and APM applications. This benefits by providing good user experience with the shared workflows. The business has scaled using additional applications but we have to pay only for what we use.

What do you like best about the product?
Integrate plugins with web solutions and provide help and organisation to our team. I like the ease of use and the smooth user interface. Asset management and ticketing are different from other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation is separate and not attached to its system, and there are too many objects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We quickly got used to it for our service desk and set up a workflow, incident management, problem management, system access, and streamlined processes.

What do you like best about the product?
Great tool; I like some of its features like adding compact files to tickets, chat integration, and easy to use and easily categorise tickets. One of its positive impacts is asset management.
What do you dislike about the product?
None. Everything is good and works for us perfectly.

IBM Maximo addresses critical areas such as asset management, service catalogue, ticketing, indecent generation, and obtaining approvals.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the reliability and usability of the system; it is excellent and can be adapted to the needs of each service, inventory management is beneficial in our case, and IBM Maximo makes it possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, we could see many problems with the old version, but then with the updates, the problems disappeared.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this tool for asset and maintenance management, and a before and after has been marked to consolidate data and information management. As a result, we were able to notice significant changes.
An easy to use and implement tool for asset management
What do you like best about the product?
One of the features I liked the most is the very high profile real-time monitoring; I wanted that it helps to organise the management, is easy to use and can manage the assets without any problem. In addition, I like the interface; it is very comfortable, practical and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find anything negative about IBM Maximo, if not things to improve, such as training and modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been excellent to have this solution for the generation of orders, inventory management, and monitoring, and we noticed the change favours us in the workflow.

I like that it's web-based and easy to use for daily tickets and to make consumer requests. The best thing about Maximo is that it adapts to our experience needs and is very powerful for best inventory workflow management.

Sometimes it is usally slow and can take a long time to load the documents.
