I don't dislike IBM Watson Discovery, but I have noticed some potential drawbacks you may want to consider before using it.

Unstructured data. A large amount of data is unstructured, meaning it is not traditionally organized. This can make it difficult to extract insights from this data. Watson Discovery can help me to analyze unstructured data, identifying trends, patterns, and relationships that would be difficult or impossible to find using traditional methods.

What do you like best about the product?
IBM Watson Discovery is an AI-powered search and content analysis platform. Its notable features include advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) for accurate understanding of unstructured data, robust document and data ingestion capabilities, powerful search and query functionalities, cognitive insights that identify patterns and relationships in data, integration with other Watson AI services, and developer-friendly APIs and SDKs. Users appreciate these features for their ability to enhance data analysis, enable data-driven decision-making, and efficiently extract insights from large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
What do you dislike about the product?
IBM Watson Discovery, like any software, has certain limitations and potential areas for improvement. These include the complexity of setup, requiring technical expertise; a learning curve to fully utilize its capabilities; challenges in customization and training of AI models; variable pricing that may be a consideration for some users; and potential integration challenges. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me in my research and benefited me in finding lots of information. Also, it allows researchers to customize their model. It really increased my overall performance.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used watson discovery during these fist release. It was working fine. I had uploaded a online computer book. And it was working very fine to search and show results from the documents. It was nice experience to get the overview of how AI works. Good NLU in watson discovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find much dislikes but sometimes i felt like answer was not that precise if it gets the duplicate answers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It did work to get some answers from a large size document. I was not willing to read the entire book. User can upload the document and can try to ask question suing discovery api's.

Creating chatbots with natural language processing with more comfortable tools. An optimized environment makes it more fascinating. Compared to other products watson discovery provides a more user-friendly environment.

Actually, if the capability of uncertain term handling could be improved, It is an essential aspect of human conversation to understand uncertain terms such as little, far, and near.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Question answering for customers and interested parties. It saves time and energy while keeping customers satisfied with fast responses. It provides a positive influence on customers.

Even if you do not have a coding background, you can build tools like chatbot and use them for your organisation or self-owned business. It works best with websites and apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it to deploy a chatbot on my business website and it works flawlessly. Knowing the fact that I do not come from a technical background, it really intrigues me that I was able to do such a technical task without much coding skills.

I highly encourage people to understand AI as it is the future of all technologies and it really makes our society complete

I developed a College Info Chatbot using IBM Watson framework.

I will recommend others for this product for advance search and text analytics.
Quicker and Easier Implementation for Chatbot
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I loved the most was the synonym feature, allowing people with different vocabulary to interact with the system. Also, the option to configure multiple criteria for the answer was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to drill down the options to configure multiple criteria for a response was a bit hectic process. Had there been some options such as a toolbar or easy-to-find menus would have been easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used this product to implement a chatbot for an OMS. Integrating this module not only helped for a better response to questions but also allowed to scale the platform and helped detect alternative words used in the day-to-day world.
Great AI/ML enabled tool for buisness
What do you like best about the product?
I liked natural language integration with the tool along with providing data insight on vast quantities of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time and effort to train IBM Watson in order to use it with full potential. Also integration time is painful. Only bigger organization can afford IBM Watson.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used it for building internal search engine for company.Unlike traditional search engines, when you ask a question, Watson Discovery adds context to the answer.
Training the system on document is easier
What do you like best about the product?
Training the system on document content is easier than expected, supporting self-service by business users rather than change requests to IT specialists. NLP, and matching to the correct section in the document, is strong and continually improving with IBM's newer versions. And the ability to ingest newer (though different) versions of a document rarely requires any retraining - the software is sufficiently flexible to adapt to the differences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though document ingestions are generally smooth and trouble-free, when there is a problem, additional diagnostics and error identification would be helpful. More reporting would also be valuable: why did a question bring up this response? how many times has that paragraph/page/document been retrieved?

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about using Watson Discovery is the seemingly infinite wealth of knowledge & available customization. Watson's UI is easy to use, with no glitches or confusion.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I feel is missing would be that Watson isn't integrated into more. If Watson was part of more technology, I feel *everything* would run hundreds of times more smoothly!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Watson to create a chatbot for customer service queries; doing so allows customers to get quick answers to their questions from Watson, which frees up the customer service agents for more complex interactions.
