Very Positive. Alternative to Ubuntu not yet though
What do you like best about the product?
I like almalinux Wiki because i havent got contact with this distro earlier(because of Ubuntu) and mine first impression was that it got really really clever and user friendly documentation.Everything is properly sorted and even started to think about re-checking during free time security chapter with OpenSCAP guide.Mine RaspberryPi experience could gain some re-evaluation after setting up under follow-up of this guide.Summarizing its a good image.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that going with todays standards and everything from made scripts and machines(which is programming,im aware of that) can kill this spirit. If there is vision it should be made with flavour.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far i didnt found any critical issues. Everything is properly made. From user perspective who enjoys programming and would like to contribute might be fun to some joyfull features.
Not recommended just wast of time

AlmaLinux makes life easy
What do you like best about the product?
AlmaLinux 8 provides a wonderful alternative to RHEL 8. This free OS has wide community support and offers wide support for a number of harware and software plugins.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transitioning from earlier versions of Linux to Alma 8 can be difficult as there are many changes between RHEL 7 and RHEL 8 based OS. This is not exactly an Alma 8 fault but moving between versions could be easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using AlmaLinux 8 allows our organization to save a lot on licensing costs. It also allows us to consume enhanced security features that are offered as part of RHEL 8.

Great Support by Supported Images
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how Alma lets you find and utilize the supported images that are needed to execute comprehensive server changes that visually look enticing. This is also great because it combines the best of Alma and Linux.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not enjoy that certain windows application required a really detailed and labor-intensive integration to execute the same functionality as with windows server tools

Connecting computers across servers, including updated and supported images for various projects and forms.
linux server
What do you like best about the product?
the best thing about the AlmaLinux 8 Server its when you have great server for your file and its using Linux, because I like to work with linux, and it is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
the most issue with Linux in general it's not easy to log in from other systems especially from your phone, so you have to install many tools to work on it in genral.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
for people who use the Linux system its the best solution for them to upload and download their files throw this system, and they can make it as a Backup driver for them when they need it.
Making the jump from CentOS
What do you like best about the product?
It's CentOS, so if you have experience with that OS, then you can use AlmaLinux no problem. My Org is currently testing AlmaLinux for Production as we retire our current servers using CentOS. Having ongoing updates and new features is the plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not CentOS! We have been using CentOS for over a decade and now we have to make a change to Production servers. The amount of work involved in that is daunting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replacing our CentOS servers that no longer receive feature updates! No financial benefits, since the cost is the same. Productivity will dip while we replace CentOS with Alma, but these things happen.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're in a CentOS environment and want to make the jump, then AlmaLinux is the most viable option.
A good replacement to centos
What do you like best about the product?
First of all its a free linux distribution and hopefully ot will successfully replace centos and start from where centos left.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to actively work on it in order to provide any cons however one issue that xan be seen is secure boot is not an option here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OS comes with the latest technology, and fixes happen fast.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are using and comfortable with cent os then its definitely a thumbs up for you.
