Great product after initial introduction period
What do you like best about the product?
It just works. Took a minute to get the hang of it, but now that I've been using for a while it just works so smoothly I am impressed. It also provides a multitude of options to configure just how you want it, but most default settings just work fine.
What do you dislike about the product?
Subscription based licensing stinks. Limited partnerships with storage vendors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to backup our M365 stuff off of Microsoft's grid in case the worst happens.

Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 is a must for Organizations that do not have on premise Servers.
What do you like best about the product?
That we can have our VBR and M365 backups seperate but easily accessible makes recovery for email, Onedrive and Teams that much easier for day to day operations. The most helpful for use is that it does not require a dedicated windows server or management of cloud storage for our tenant backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some error logs and warnings are not as verbose as you would expect from VBR. Since we have been a customer and using the platform, they are improving apon the message detail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a transportation company spanning multiple states. It allows us to recover various communications for different departments and recover company files that have been either misplaced or accidently deleted by users in various departments.
Solid backup solution for Microsoft 365
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Data Cloud is a solid solution for Microsoft 365. The main benefit for us is having a solution that is almost set and forget. The service has reliably backed up our data with an effortless restore process. Intial setup was very easy , no complex configuration requred.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no complaints from my end. Everything worked without any issues. I had a smooth and hassle-free experience, which met all my expectations.

We needed a reliable cloud-to-cloud backup solution for Microsoft 365 to ensure data security and continuity. The solution provided met our expectations, offering seamless integration, ease of use, and robust protection.
Excellent Product
What do you like best about the product?
The product was extremly easy to setup and configure and runs without issue. It's also easy to maintain require little to no maintenance.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was initially marketed to include some ediscovery features. However the proved to be inefficient and lack luster.

Veeam Data Cloud is maintaining our backups for Exhchange, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint.

It's simple and easy to understand GUI that helps easily to manage the workloads.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike this tool as it is very interactive tool.

Dual way to access and administer the backup and restore.

All is fine. Support can be better. But still supports is better than all veeam competators.

Native Microsoft 365 retention policies may not meet all business Veeam offers customizable retention policies, ensuring that data is retained according to the organization's specific needs and compliance requirements.requirements or may have gaps that leave data unprotected.

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam helps to remove the risks of not being able to access and control Microsoft 365 data meaning that a users and companys' data is always protected and accessible. Veeam backup software can safely backup Microsoft 365 to various locations, for example on premises, or a hyperscale cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Veeam has moved to a subscription model , this has resulted in Veeam becoming a costly software.

Backing up and restoration of data.
