What do you like best about the product?
IBM watson assistant is user friendly and easy to learn and use. Good platform to build chatbots and flows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it got stuck, otherwise it is nice and good to use while working with conversational flows and chatbots.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this for skill and dialogue flow development for chatbots.

What do you like best about the product?
IBM has built a straightforward platform for building chatbots with minimal technical knowledge of complex NLP techniques. The platform is beginner friendly and easy to use. You can quickly design a chatbot using intents, entities, and dialog flows and try it out on the fly.
What do you dislike about the product?
IBM Watson Assistant is great for creating simple chatbots. However, it can struggle a bit when things start to get complex. Integrating it with third-party apps is tough if they are not directly supported. And the documentation could improve further.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it in a recommendation system to recommend products from various categories. These categories can get complex based on the customer's requirements. Watson helps in recommending the right products in these cases.

Detection of object using IBM watson was a smooth process.

The process to train the AI bot was a quite tough.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use, and you can test the outcomes while developing your chatbot. Also, it doesn't require much time to train the model. You prepare the chatbot with suitable words, and it recognizes them precisely.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be a wide range of easy-to-understand tutorials and examples that allows user to build complex chatbots and integrate other IBM Watson services such as Language Translator and Watson Discovery. Currently, there are very few tutorials and a narrow set of examples to explain the capabilities and use cases of IBM Watson Assistant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM Watson allows business owners to reduce the repetitive cost they incur in answering the same questions. All they do is train a chatbot with the most frequently asked questions, and the chatbot is ready with the replies. If the chatbot cannot answer the question, it can forward that query to a human agent, thus reducing the burden on humans.

Yhe way of building condition is very felxibile.The UI is easy and the developer he do not need strong technical knowledge.Because watson UI is build like that

I felt the downside as it has to improve the intelligent capabilities.Because in my project it is not taking correct values in certain complex scenarios .May be lack of educational domain knowledge

My project was a chatboat for the student in a large university, for studen can choose there class anf they can check there location of class etc..Its actually based on education domain.

What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of IBM Watson Assistant to be able to plug and play with all the other services offered on IBM cloud such as translating, speech to text, TTS, call services makes it easy to deploy it for various applications ranging from voice assistant over phone call to simple chat assistant in a webpage. The ease of use of the IBM platform with great UX lets developers create amazing dialog flows. The detailed documentation is definitely worth mentioning.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not faced any issues with IBM Watson Assistant. They keep on releasing versions frequently, that the issues are fixed before even developers start noticing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM Watson Assistant reduces problem resolution time in almost all support related domains by understanding the issue of the end user and providing possible solutions. It hands over the query/call to human agent only when necessary. It's great algorithms helps understand complex human phrases and retrieve relevant answers or solutions.
It is powerful speect to text engine
What do you like best about the product?
I worked on an application that required speech-to-text. I am surprised that it was almost 90-100% accurate
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing i disliked, but i would like to see how it works for Indian regional languages.

I'm mostly curious about Watson's knowledge due to Jeopardy
What do you like best about the product?
From the ground up, it seems Watson is built differently from the competition. I also believe the solution uses a different dataset than Amazon and Google. I'm not concerned about speed, im concerned about context being understood.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a day job in IT. Most of the topics which I search online are literal string matching. I use the answers to build my own solutions. I will not use watson to create solutions for me, but simply build a foundation. For this reason, it is difficult to use Watson if this is my only usecase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Awareness of weather, of supply chains, and the broad knowledge of jeopardy will allow me my own ways to 'fact check' and i consider watson to be like those old encyclopaedia from my childhood.
