Veeam Exellent Data Protection Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam has single consle to manage every platform and app backup in IT landscape, easy to use, install and configure the backups with respective day to day backup operation and IT requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam as backup tool it works at its best, how ever it need to in corporate little more on ransomware and air gap solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we have VMware seamless backups with help of Veeam where we can do VM and SQL DB backup with out agent :).

Works as intended but.....
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam is simple and straightforward. Setup is easy and quick and has been their mantra for some time "It just works".
What do you dislike about the product?
High-level support for complex issues can be very lacking at times. Support might give you a "solution" to your issue and a link to their own website detailing the solution but will tell you that it's not a support fix and you have to do it yourself with no help from them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam is a simple, straightforward solution for VM backups. Once jobs are created the solution requires minimal oversight.
Good solution but not the best

The recovery capabilities that the application can provide.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are better solutions with ransomware mitigation, zero trust implementations and fast recovery.

Veeam data platform is helping me with the file recovery and server backup tasks.

Moving large amounts of data out of the on-prem location is a bandwidth issue.

Our disaster recovery and online backups are solved using Veeam.

The platform is very easy to use when it comes to restoring and backing up the data

With most backups, the time to restore will be slow when it comes to the amount on data to restore/backup

Finding a platform that will backup/restore the amount of data we have

It provides a fast and secure backup and a reliable recovery. We use it on various platforms and hybrid cloud environment

Some time the cpu usage is high, it may affact the server performance.

Veeam is great.
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam is simple to use but has powerful capabilities. Speed is top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, my only complaint about Veeam is the licensing. It's only purchasable in packs of 10 and every unique VM requires a license. This gets rather expensive.

Veeam is a COMPLETE backup solution. From full bare metal recovery down to single file recovery Veeam has you covered.

Easy to use. Restoring data is quick and easy. View "all time" during restoration is nice.

Nothing that I have come across so far that I dislike.

Veeam is a full solution that provides all the features we need such as replication, recovery and backups.
Solid Performing platform
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the different interface came with a simplified UI and it was easy to understand as well as navigate. The update process for the platform was a simple process that was not bogged down by optional offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It currently not easy to say what is not working as this is the first experience with the platform. And with the first experiences, it does take time to compare to actually determine if there is something that is truly a downside to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped in the data backup as well as the resiliency of the data that we store. It is not always an easy thing to balance the Technology cost & the actual monetary one. But the platform does a good job of providing data resiliency and backup without killing your budget.

The ease of navigation and use of the entire platform. We get the information we need and can do so without much hassel.

At this time there isn't anything that is disliked. We have been using for a very long time and are pleasd.
