An extraordinary software for organizing applications for effective results in a company
What do you like best about the product?
Instant has been very useful in allowing visualization of 3D, mostly in creation of architecture designs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Instana is a bit costly to purchase but at the same time generates a good income annually
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instana is useful in the creation of 3D structures, checking perfor and solving accidents likely to occur in an an organization

Support for php 8.1 not available, which makes update software not possible

What do you like best about the product?
Have been using instana for backend applications. The way instana tracks number of requests and latency for the requests, and even what part of the request took long time is really great. Helps with better debugging experience
What do you dislike about the product?
Allows looking at maximum 1 month of data. Could help if longer timeline is allowed. Mainly because in some type of issue which are creating a pattern, for example 15th of every month there is a spike, here the experience is not so smooth
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before instana, we didn't have any APMs integrated. This made debugging experience very poor, after integration with instana, life has become easier. We can now track all the metrics at one place. It also shows the dependencies between other rest services and all the callers who are calling our api. Although this is possible with other solutions like grafana, instana simply makes things easier because we no longer need to do any manual configuration from our code base

What do you like best about the product?
The detailed call stack trace with the amount of detailed data is the best part about instana. Club that with the alert setup has reduced our RCA time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the UI becomes difficult to navigate when we go into detail about an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Instana for performance monitoring of our APIs and monitor our cluster management during heavy loads.

I like about the application level insights, kafka topics insights, latency measurement.

nothing as such for dislike in instana. all things are appreatiable.

We are getting how our system performs in productions, also we get to in each api calls where are lagging issue, as we can trace the complete api call with instana.
