Protects company Emails from threats
What do you like best about the product?
This software reads through emails and learns how individuals write and determines if things are different if they are compromised. It has helped us quite a bit as far as email threats are concerned. It runs in the background, so it is not obstructive.
What do you dislike about the product?
When downloading a file from email, it takes time to scan it for threats which is great. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes quite a long time to scan the file. Which needs to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Barracuda is still the originator and industry leader in anti-spearphisphing. Poc was much better and implementation seemed to be smoother. I like it for the service it provides.

It works well.
What do you like best about the product?
I like this product because it just works. You don't have to think about it. It has done thousands of emails, and we have only had two that we have had to pull back as false positives. They have got better reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price it is a little expensive. But you get what you pay for. More tuning options would be excellent but not necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Threatening emails of all sorts it pulls them from the inbox.

What do you like best about the product?
You set it up and it starts getting smarter and smarter in finding unwanted email.
What do you dislike about the product?
there are still some flaws, especially in the account takeover process. (false positives)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some mails can not be stopped by a standard spamfilter. Sentinel finds those and eliminates them.

What do you like best about the product?
My company uses multiple Barracuda products and the thing that we like the most is their amazing customer service. As for Barracuda Sentinel, its spam protection is top-notch and it has never miscategorised any email so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
The settings can be a bit confusing at times and I feel that there are just way too many options which are good for customization but also makes it easy for the user to bungle something up and ruin his inbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed some very good spam protection software reason being that the email id of most people in my department is forward-facing and is given out at multiple places making us a lot more susceptible to junkware.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, integrates well with other Barracuda Email Security solutions, helps identify phishing/spear-phishing emails and can remove them from user inboxes prior to them opening the email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting and visibility could be enhanced to show more insights and detailed metrics on email flows, types of attacks, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preventing email security incidents, by reducing phishing and spear-phishing emails and having an extra layer of AI protection.

What do you like best about the product?
Barracuda Email security provides us with real-time AI-based email protection which is very helpful for keeping our data safe and secure. Impersonation Protection is the beauty of Barracuda Sentinel which provide a separate dashboard for real-Time Phishing Protection,Account Takeover Protection and Domain Fraud Protection etc.

With my 2 years of working with Barracuda, i m very happy with the Barracuda Email and impersonation protection.

We are using Barracuda impersonation protection for real-Time Phishing Protection, Account Takeover Protection Domain Fraud Protection and this is very useful for Employee name impersonation Protection

Impersonation Protection (Sentinel) works extremely well.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to implement and start protecting your system. Spear phishing attacks are automatically deleted. We've never has a false positive. Dmarc is easy to implement and starts in learning mode so you have zero distruption.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product works best only if you also license it together with incident Response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
Sentinel has been a lifesaver! In the past, when an incident concerning a malicious email hits my service board, it was very time-consuming and next to impossible to track and mitigate. This arm of the Barracuda platform eliminates all of the guesswork. I can see who received the message and pull the email from everyone's inbox with a few clicks. Also: the ability to have it auto-remediate is enormous! Peace of mind is a priceless thing. Now that I've been using it for over a year I can't imagine email security any other way.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing about this product that I dislike. Everything about it works very well. However, the barrier to entry for Barracuda's email security services does require going through an MSP, and MSPs have minimum requirements to make it "worth it." The size of an organization shouldn't be a barrier to access a necessary product like this. I would love to see Barracuda have an offering for smaller organizations (1 - 25 users) where they can get the same grade of security as larger organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For years tackling email security matters has been difficult. Even with spam filtering services, things always get through. And after that, if you want insights, auto-remediation, advanced detection? Forget about it! Could someone build a solution? Yeah, sure, maintaining it is a Sisyphean task. Barracuda already has a solution it's called Sentinel. You get all the benefits of an advanced detection and remediation system without having to build and maintain it. What would take hours and days to handle can be done in a matter of seconds.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You won't be disappointed going with Barracuda Sentinel.
Barracuda Sentinel Phishing Protection
What do you like best about the product?
Barracuda Sentinel is easy to configure and put in place with other Barracuda Security products (example, Barracuda Essentials). Clear emails to the end-user warning them about the phishing attempt.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting missed phishing attacks back to the Barracuda Sentinel team requires that we find the email in Barracuda Essentials, download it, and email it to the Sentinel Security Team. I'm hoping Barracuda can better integrate their products and reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Barracuda Sentinel adds another layer of security to our email filtering. Currently, we are using Barracuda Sentinel in combination with Barracuda Essentials and Microsoft's tools for email filtering. Adding that extra layer of security that scans our email for its contents and spots malicious phishing attempts.

What do you like best about the product?
The AI element, auto response to potential threats. When a suspicious login is detected from an unusual place is great, highlighting when users have inadvertently given login details away. Can review emails raised by used and review how it affects other users across the org and pull / remove from all affected mailboxes at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot to dislike within the product. You can see where emails originate from around the world, it would be useful to show if this was a one off or regular occurrence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Several problems but unauthorised logins is key. Forward rules set within emails. We have stopped several unauthorised logins quickly and easily.
