The trusted Linux systems with guaranteed support
What do you like best about the product?
Continuous development and improvement happening within the community is wonderful, but who can provide a trusted support, its only RED HAT . The financial industry supervised by regulators, always advice to install Operating Systems which has continuous support. Auditors find fault otherwise. The enterprise edition always released with stable libraries and bug fixes are taken care almost immediately.

nothing found so far to comment bad about.

to avoid Licensing cost of MS $ windows and hardware resource hungry OS.

Best operating system to run applications
What do you like best about the product?
Security at its best. We are using Red Hat Enterprise Linux on our physical database servers and virtual application servers. Our infrastructure supports an ERP solution. We have a couple of choices based on what the ERP supports, and we decided to use Red Hat Enterprise Linux to host our database, applications, and backup infrastructure. Red Hat Enterprise Linux is quite affordable and very well suited for enterprise solutions. Plenty of online resources are available if you ever run into issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Other linux distros have greatly improved user experience and GUI, I think RHEL mostly prefers terminal over GUI.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud ready support
Stable, secure, supported, and free
What do you like best about the product?
We can always find drivers that support Red Hat. Red Hat contributes significant engineering resources to major projects in the GNU/Linux ecosystem. I have never had any problems. I feel very confident in selecting Red Hat Enterprise Linux for my projects; in my opinion, it is one of the most stable Linux distributions available on the market. The support is also a strong point; they are very focused on solving the problem in the shortest possible time. However, the key point for selecting RHEL from Red Hat Enterprise Linux is the support compatibility with other vendors in the Hardware and Software area. It is very important to have all solutions supported in a single project.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about RedHat. In fact, in my experience, the only training to provide Red Hat Linux is the main supplier and the resellers. There isn't much to dislike about RedHat. Nothing I can think of, I work with these devices indirectly and they seem to be more reliable than if I were using a Windows device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are capable of using Linux servers in a universal forwarder configuration across our network. We needed a stable Linux distribution for the company that we could purchase support from the manufacturer for some time. I was a fan of the Debian distribution, but I had some issues with HBA drivers and storage support. I solved this problem when I adopted Red Hat Enterprise Linux RHEL for these servers, and I really enjoyed migrating from Debian to Red Hat Enterprise Linux RHEL based on stability, hardware manufacturer support, and compatibility matrix. The setup was incredibly easy and maintenance is relatively simple.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Some more push for RHEL certification would be great. The big thing is that you can try it before you buy it. RHEL is generally behind in kernel versions and software packages. You will not be disappointed.
