Tenable.sc is the best vulnerability management system on the planet. Hands Down!
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive dashboards and reporting. Cloud and on-prem scanning. Ability to drill down into vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. The interface seems a little dated, but it is solid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to get a handle on vulnerabilities that exist within our organization, not only at the server level but down to the individual workstation.

What do you like best about the product?
Tenable IO is the best Cloud-based Vulnerability Management tool which gives us the leverage to integrate with Cloud Containers and on-premises Nessus scanners as well. It has many predefined scan templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it's a SaaS-based platform, so sometimes it has performance issues and pages/dashboards lod. Load so slowly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Tenable IO, we can scan the entire cloud infra and On-premises infra with scanner integration. We can scan the Web applications for vulnerability to patch those. It's the best tool for roaming users as well as its license method is per asset, not per IP.

GUI integration with TSC, Dashboard. Reporting along with Lumin
What do you dislike about the product?
less Number of dashboard and reporting tamplets.

What do you like best about the product?
Tenable.sc is the best VM tool for those customers who are not cloud-friendly and want an on-premises solution. It scans the complete infra and gives the loopholes so that you can patch it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I won't say its a dislike, but for Tenable.sc, the minimum license requirement is 512, which i think flexible to support SMB Customers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Tenable.sc we run the scan in our Infra and scan to find the vulnerabilities and patch it. It helps us to secure our Infra and follow the regulatory compliance guidelines. It supports both active and passive scanning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tenable.sc is the best tool to run the security analysis in Infra to get the Vulnerability details so that it can be patched on time before attackers know it. It has predefined template to get the reports on regulatory compliance guidelines.

The switch between the new and the classic interface sometimes confuses you, but it is nothing you cannot overcome, everything should be migrated to the new interface

In addition to the vulnerability risk management function, the product also includes the baseline configuration scanning function so that the multi-functional unified management is very convenient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The overall user experience is perfect, the dashboard is intuitive and straightforward, and you can easily customize various charts according to your business needs. The distributed scanning engine architecture is very suitable for the complex architecture of our data center with a large scale of assets and multiple subnets. The scanning has less impact on our business and device. In addition, the vulnerability prioritization feature (VPR) integrated with threat intelligence allows us to focus on the most critical vulnerabilities to deal with, which is very useful for us. In addition, the ability to rescan vulnerabilities allows our security department to know the progress of other departments’ colleagues to remediate vulnerabilities. Therefore, we think the tenable solution is perfect.

Tenable.sc working with Nessus, provide us a holistic view of our environment, about the assets & vulnerabilities.

A bit expensive, but for the quality service, it's still worth it.
