Great place to collaborate
What do you like best about the product?
For me, Miro is primarily a tool that offers great flexibility and a space for creative work. I love that I can organize my ideas in any way I want—whether it’s through mind maps, flowcharts, Kanban boards, or even simple sketches. I don’t feel restricted by rigid templates, and I can tailor the workspace precisely to my needs.
Another big advantage is the teamwork aspect in Miro. We can work on projects in real-time, no matter where we are, which makes it easy to build on each other's ideas. For me, it’s not only a time-saver but also a way to spark creativity—trying out different solutions, quickly making adjustments, and watching concepts take shape visually.

What do you dislike about the product?
What I find challenging about Miro is the need to keep the boards organized to avoid chaos and losing control over the content. With so many ideas and elements, it’s easy for things to get messy if you’re not careful. However, I see this mostly as a matter of self-management—keeping things tidy and structured is within my control, even if it requires some extra effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me tackle several challenges in product management by providing a versatile platform for organizing ideas and processes. For mind mapping, it’s invaluable—I can lay out thoughts and concepts visually, which makes it easier to see connections and develop a structured approach to complex projects. Customer journey mapping is another area where Miro shines, allowing me to map out each step of the user experience in a clear, visual format that’s easy to share with the team.
The collaborative whiteboard aspect is also a game-changer. It lets everyone contribute their insights in real time, regardless of where they are. This enhances teamwork and speeds up decision-making, as we can see each other’s input instantly and refine our ideas on the spot. Overall, Miro streamlines processes and improves communication, making it much easier to manage and execute projects effectively.

Super Easy Virtual Canvas Tool - Express thoughts visually!
What do you like best about the product?
I can use it to express concepts visually. It just works. The tool is easy to start using and as I've needed to do more advanced things I'm able to figure it out.
I'm really excited to try out the AI features to accelerate my work.
The mobile app exists and helps me when I'm on the go.

What do you dislike about the product?
When I'm using the mobile app with a larger canvas I'd love to see a minimap that would allow me to navigate quickly to another section without zooming out and then back in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to visually express thoughts in a collaborative manner greatly improves our ability to accurately convey requirements and turn them into technical deliverables that delight customers.
Brainstorm Freely
What do you like best about the product?
I love that miro offers ways for users to organize their thoughts in all sorts of ways. Its very user friendly, allows you to brain dump, and also collaborate with others! I've found the platform very helpful in working on design projects and just in my individual work project management overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
One option that could be fun for miro to provide would be for organizations to incorporate their brand identity with the color choices and typefaces offered to their teams in the sticky notes, boxes etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find having a whiteboard is a great way to collaborate and find that it can be diffucult to collaborate in the same way virtually. I love that miro provides an elevated whiteboard option that you can use with coworkers/partners/clients virtually.
Our product planning can't progress without Miro!
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to visualize relations and flows of multiple aspects of the products/features, using different colors, shapes, lines, and images. I always use borad sharing option to Slack and Notion, which we used as the official communication spaces, and the boards can directly gather feedback from team members. I sometimes use templates provided in the strategy and planning category. They're awesome. As I'm a frequent user, I appreciate Miro can be accessed via SSO, which keeps me login all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's better if Miro has customization options. For example, orders of shape and lines listed in the menu are fixed, but I would like some frequently used shapes to be shown at the top.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To clarify relationships of different aspects of features and ideas. To identify step-by-step flows for customer journeys. To streamline organizational charts and roles and responsibilities. To conduct brainstorming and KPT with teammates.
An amazing tool to collaborate on ideas
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is perfect for expressing ideas quickly. As it equally supports visual and textual content, it makes it easy to just start visualizing things. The possibilty to collaborate on content makes it the perfect tool to build and work on ideas together. The ease of usage allows anybody to collaborate, no matter how well versed the person is with graphical tools.
Moreover, I like to make presentation with Miro because it does not start with bullet points (as other tools do). That leads to slides that focus on best visualization, making text just an additional element, but not the main type of information.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if Miro supported crafting slide decks with recurring content such as footnotes or logos.

It's easy to use, easy to shar your thoughts and to do a brainstorm. You can also use it as a task management.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have access to a big board but if you are using it at his full length it's starting to be laggy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me tackle the challenges of remote and visual collaboration by providing a versatile, interactive whiteboard where I can brainstorm, map workflows, and share ideas in real-time with my team, regardless of location.

Powerful Collaboration Tool for (Distributed) Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a powerful tool that has become our standard in our team's collaboration toolkit, especially for lessons learned / retrospective sessions. It’s very easy to jump in, even for new team members or external stakeholders. The frequent updates keep us engaged and looking forward to exploring the latest additions. Also, I can easily locate older boards by using the content search feature, even if I only remember a few keywords. That saved me a lot of time in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working with large boards, especially those containing over 30 frames, loading times / performance while zooming/scrolling can noticeably lag.
During voting sessions, the current setup allows participants to see the pointers of other users on the board even if their votes are still ongoing. This visibility can unintentionally reveal where others could have placed their votes. Ideally, participant pointers would be hidden until all voting is complete, ensuring a more impartial experience.

Very useful for collaboration in meetings and over time
What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive for newcomers and can be very sophisticated for advanced use.
I structure spaces for participatory deliberation on complex issues, and miro enables not just presentations and whiteboarding but also sorting, filtering, voting and more.

What do you dislike about the product?
With such a complex tool, you have to put the time in to make sure things will behave as you expect. Not necessarily a critique of miro, but ensuring things are locked down when you dont want them to move, and sorting collaboratively generated sticky notes into consistently formatted readable outputs just takes time and attention. But miro mostly is helpful and rarely gets in the way.

What do you dislike about the product?
Managing seats and use across our organization is a bit wonky, but that's mostly on our side of things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really helps to make something complex much easier to convey to others, whether peers or management.
