A fast tool without entry barriers
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very helpful for our Server-Team because now we can manage ToDos, Pictures and Quotes on the SAME board/page. No more scrolling and double listing, yeah :)
And it allows us to draw together, in real time and it doesnt get deletet.

What do you dislike about the product?
For me Miro doesn't have big downsides. Just a small one for me, you cant hide your team members emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us it is the easy ability to shedule tasks and have other team members writing problems e.g. with i can react to.
It is much more helpful to have ONE Board instead of thousands of unconnected To-Do Lists and Messages.

Creating Visuals instead of spreadsheets
What do you like best about the product?
This is my first foray in to using Miro and I've only been using it for about 6 months. As a PM I am used to spredsheets and piviot tables, but my team is actually using miro to track our work across swim lanes every day and we have a separate section where we track our blockers. We've also been able to use miro as a collabrative tool for our sprint retrospectives where everyone can post 'stickies' at the same time and we can discuss in realtime. I am a huge fan of the tool in that it allows our design team to do what they do best, represent things visually. The tool is very user friendly and new people seem to catch on very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly dont have any 'real complants' maybe more music choices when using the timer, we use that feature during our sprint retrospectives to stay on track.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking our work in a way that is less cumbersome. Our team also uses Jira but having our separate miro board allows us to track things that are important to our team only
A great way to start design sprints
What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro for the ease of access. It's great for quick Wireframes and a low barrier to entry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, moving around the canvas using right-click is kind of strange. When new folks come to see designs I always have to orient them to this. It's unfortunate since they are experiencing the software for the first time and already have a frustrating experience on the very first feature they experience--mass-selecting design components right in front of everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I particularly like access to cloud-based products and this is a great one. Other than the basic controls, it's easy to get things up and running and share with folks immediately.
Our business runs off Miro
What do you like best about the product?
The open campus. Allows us to do everthing from project management to workshops to presentation decks.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a designer, I have high standards for the presentation of our boards. Miro has come a long way in that aspect, e.g. custom fonts. But there's still things I'd love to see with grids, templates, gradients, etc. that would take it to the next level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management: We design boards to track all phases of a project, the one link clients need to see everything
Workshopping: We design baords to conduct remote, collaborative exercises over Zoom

Great tool to organize ideas and draw up conceptual wireframes
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility - the infinite canvas and the ability to diagram makes it so much easier to collaborate and ideate than word docs and spreadsheets
Easy to use and intuitive

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to exploit the child/parent structure of trees and graphs I build via the API so I can develop apps on top
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to collaborate
The ability to "show not tell" when speaking with clients and prospects

The Essential Tool for Collaborative Innovation and Design
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Miro is its ability to foster seamless and visual collaboration, allowing teams to share ideas in real-time, regardless of their location. Its intuitive and stable interface has been an indispensable ally in the innovation workshops and design sprints I’ve facilitated for over 10 years. The Post-its and collaborative boards are particularly useful for organizing ideas and mapping complex workflows in a clear, visual way. Miro has been key to many successful projects, enabling me to transform ideas into concrete results quickly and effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro is an extremely powerful tool, I would like to have faster access to all its features and updates. Occasionally, some advanced functionalities or integrations are only available in premium versions or beta, which limits full access to the platform's capabilities when I need them. It would be ideal to experience its complete potential without restrictions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use Miro for product innovation and UX research. It’s an incredible tool for running design sprints, brainstorming sessions, and mapping user journeys. Miro's flexibility allows me to gather and organize insights, generate creative solutions, and visualize complex concepts in a way that's easy for both technical and non-technical teams to understand. Miro helps solve the challenge of collaborative work across teams, especially when working remotely. It allows me to visualize ideas, share insights, and engage with team members in real time, no matter where they are. Additionally, Miro’s ability to handle and display PDF files, icons, and templates in an intuitive way saves time and streamlines workflows. Its vast set of tools and integrations keep everything in one place, making the overall process more efficient and boosting team productivity.
Obsidian with MarkMind & Zotero Plugin vs. Miro & Marketplace
What do you like best about the product?
It's a digital whiteboard with collaboration. I love the zoom in and out function a lot. I'm using Miro since the beginning when it was born and named Real Time Board or something similar. I like some of the changes and upgrades when they rebranded to Miro.com.

{ Right now, it's a nice 2D whiteboard with some API access. I'm for sure *not* the best expert for all of it's functions, but compared to the 4D approach by my OCB™ Framework in my 👩🎓 :

What do you dislike about the product?
It's not possible to have a real nice access to OpenAI and Abthropic or maybe I am just too lazy. Also some problems with the speed of zoom in and zoom out if you have too many files. Also it's only, "only" 2D :-(.
