An invaluable tool for brainstorming, architecture, and communication.
What do you like best about the product?
I started using Miro back in 2019 as part of a human centered design team, but my use really took off in 2020 when the sudden need for remote workshops came about from the COVID pandemic. Miro was indispensable for continuing our work since we could interact with people, remotely, in real-time. The ability to show/hide content, see where cursors were pointed, guide users, and have the content in a digital format meant that I could run remote workshops as effectively as being in-person. As I've grown in my career I've found that its ease of use to share content to external organizations has become an invaluable platform for communication, regardless if it's a structured format like an architecture diagram, or something as informal as a brainstorming board. Even the simple copy/paste from screenshots is a huge help in putting together clear and thoughtful visuals for presentations. If a picture is worth a 1000 words, then the ease of Miro is worth 1000 pictures.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge I've had is navigating the various teams and boards within the environment. It's just a minor annoyance where I have to be cognizant of which team I'm working in, which boards I created, and then ensuring I've invited the correct participants into the correct team. Thankfully, the ability to export back-ups of my boards eases my mind where if I get removed from a team, I can still maintain the data (I'm possessive like that).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The real-time collaboration is the biggest challenge, especially when working remotely where I've had to run workshops in the past.

Essential tool for work
What do you like best about the product?
There are many options and use cases, allowing for easy visualization and collaboration
What do you dislike about the product?
The web version is too heavy, so it's better to avoid it and use the app instead
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s a great tool to visualize customer journeys and build workflows
Best Infinite whiteboard I ever used
What do you like best about the product?
Very practical and easy-to-use tool. The best option for remote planning meetings. My team is using it on daily basis not only for planning, but also for creating flows, diagrams or even keep track on project progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Advanced options are quite hard to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tool is infinite, you can use it for almost everything, create diagrams, project specifications, planning, UX&UI mockups or track your teams progress
Transformed virtual working and workship participation
What do you like best about the product?
Brings everyone together virtually in an easy to use environment. Everyone can easily share their ideas and thoughts without taking a lot of time. Decisions are also more transparent and easier to follow. Can't do a workshop or virtual event without it anymore!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had a few more tips and tricks to do the basics better. And I would love 5 things everyone needs to know to get started so I could easily share this with my colleauges being brought into a miro meeting for 1 time. I also really don't like the sharing of a Miro board...I always have to tell people to NOT create an account and if they do they 'secretly' become a member on my board and then I have to delete them. This isn't a great process especialyl if you want people to easily participate. I also wish there were some pricing plans that allowed use for a month at time at a reasonable cost for small businesses/individuals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming ideas. Helping to bring everone's thoughts together. better faster decisions and transparency
Great App for designing
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is incredibly versatile for both designing and brainstorming. Its user-friendly interface allows me, as a PO, to easily create mockups and wireframes while collaborating in real-time with my team. The visual nature of the app, with its infinite canvas and templates, helps me organize workflows and concepts effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike is that some of the more advanced features, like export options and custom templates, are locked behind higher-tier plans. This can be frustrating when trying to keep costs low. But when having the Premium Plan there is not really a downside at all
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me streamline workflows, organize ideas visually, and collaborate with my team in real-time, making it easier to iterate on mockups and get faster feedback. This speeds up decision-making and keeps everyone aligned.
An incredibly versatile, powerful tool for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes collaboration and design thinking seamless and immersive. Whether I am planning for user research or co-creating solutions with stakeholders, the endless opportunities for creativity on the canvas make it a foundational part of my workflow as a product manager. In addition, its AI-powered features and app integrations (e.g., Jira) further streamline my processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite its host of benefits, Miro still has its limitations. Its export feature could certainly be improved, as I do not have control over which frames can be selected as well the order in which they are presented in a PDF document. Also, I've experienced issues when sharing the board with stakeholders who do not have a Miro account. This may be a result of operating on the free version, however. Perhaps this will be mitigated once my organization completes the process of moving to the Enterprise plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me understand user and stakeholder requirements through workshops, plan and refine my product strategy, create deliverables such as journey maps and roadmaps, analyze user research, hold retrospectives and much more. It is absolutely essential to my role both as a product manager and digital evangelist on my team. Also, its ease of use has implicitly empowered my stakeholders and broadened their understanding of agile methodologies and user-centred design principles.

What do you dislike about the product?
Organization of workspaces, some features copied from other software doesn't update when changed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration on Product Management and ability to create presentation quality items with multiple toolsets.

What do you dislike about the product?
Can get very big and unwieldy- so does need some does/dont laid down.
Scale Sizing jumps in intervals - would be better to be blue to type in the scale you want to see

Having everything in one place and accessible to all simultaneously makes discussion easier as you can show people what/where/how live rather than referring them to various documents

Miro's intuitive interface allows seamless collaboration across teams, whether working remotely or in the same location. Its wide array of templates and tools facilitates brainstorming, planning, and diagramming. The ability to integrate with other platforms like Slack and Google Drive has been incredibly useful for streamlining our workflows."
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro offers a robust set of features, the learning curve for some advanced functionalities can be steep, especially for new users. Additionally, performance can sometimes lag when working on very large boards with multiple collaborators
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps simplify complex blockchain project planning by allowing the visualization of decentralized networks, tokenomics, and smart contract structures. It’s also very useful for team collaboration, especially for discussing and iterating on project designs remotely. This saves us time and improves the clarity of our work.
My primary ideation & concept development tool
What do you like best about the product?
As a PM who works on projects that are either in development or R&D stages, Miro allows me to quickly organize ideas, concepts, or key areas of improvements.
I love its versatility; wheter I need to create a mood boards, roadmaps, or UX flows, I can do everything in one place. This is excellent for rapid iteration & sharing.
It's a tool that I use on a daily basis, and would recommend to anyone working in design or tech.

What do you dislike about the product?
While I appreciate the templates, I typically prefer making my own; they're great starting points, but they can be a little clunky to manipulate & bend to ones liking.
There are also some minor UX issues (control schemes) that can bother users who utilise the tool on a daily basis.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary problems Miro is solves is: what are we designing? And are we all aware of what it is we're designing?
