Good for live collaboration, issues with graphics

  • October 03, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Live collaboration. I like that multiple people can work simultaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Pdfs can be added, but make the program (website) very laggy
- My firm use Miro to make presentations, and it's really hard to navigate. Anytime someone pdfs a deck, the pages are all out of order
- its supposed to be very intuitive and user-friendly, but often wont do what you want (for example dragging an arrow from text to another object, which is difficult to manipulate the end points
- font difficult to load in
0 files exported from it too large
- no way to save a snapshot in time - a record of the board that could be returned to and worked on further. A pdf record is all well and good, but what if you want to go back to something that was deleted and make a minor adjustment?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
simultaneous use accross teams

User-Friendly, Collaborative Presentation Tool

  • October 03, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very easy to learn and is pretty universally user friendly. It is great to be able to collaborative in one space as opposite to other programs where you can only have one user at a time. It saves so much time in the process to focus on the content of the presentation rather then the actual presentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro is very easy to use and saves time - it has its faults. Exporting from Miro can be very frustrating - even if you number the pages they always export out of order. The resolution is never as good as other programs and always comes out a bit blurry. I wish there was a feature to edit image opacity. Also - I wish there was a custom line and shape tool instead of only being able to use the standard shapes/lines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is great to be able to work all in one space at the same time. This saves so much time and being able to give comments on the presentation pages, sketches, and images in real time.

Great for organizing and brainstorming

  • October 03, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are so many unique small tools available in templates (the sticky notes especially!) or the timer feature.

It's amazing how it can be a messy, chaotic brain storm workspace but then also be utilized to create structure and organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have a "flatten" feature, as in multiple items are grouped together (especially drawings), that can be flattened and ideally have a heavy board become lighter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A way to visually represent abstract ideas, and a way for remote teams to come together collaboratively to work.

An essential tool for remote design collaboration

  • October 03, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has become an indispensable tool for my team and me. I use it for designing websites, packaging, and other marketing materials, and it makes the process much more efficient. Its collaborative features allow my team to work together seamlessly, even when we’re all remote. The ability to brainstorm, design, and iterate in real time is incredibly helpful, and the intuitive interface makes it easy for everyone to contribute, no matter their location or technical ability.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro is packed with features, it can occasionally feel a bit overwhelming when navigating through large projects with numerous boards. Some minor lag issues occur when working with extremely large designs, but overall, these are small trade-offs for the platform’s powerful capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping us overcome the challenges of remote collaboration. Before using it, working with distributed teams was a logistical challenge, especially for creative tasks like designing websites, packaging, and marketing materials. With Miro, we can now brainstorm, create, and review designs together in real-time, regardless of location. This has significantly improved our efficiency, reduced feedback loops, and allowed us to meet deadlines more consistently, all while maintaining high-quality work.

Math Teacher loves Miro!

  • October 03, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can input all the content I need my students to see on the miro and they can access it anywhere! They can get the notes on their chromebook or cell phone at any location. I can also have them add their thoughts to the miro togetehr for collaboration. I use it daily and train other teacher to use it every year. Most teachers only need one training because it is very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could put a video into a miro board and it didn't show up as a link. I wish they could jus t watch it right in the miro board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They keep adding more tools that make miro better and better.

Fantastic collaboration tool for companies of all sizes

What do you like best about the product?
I like how versatile and simple the solution is. With its help, I can prioritize the roadmap, conduct workshops, prepare for demo calls, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited free plan (in terms of available boards) + huge issues with merging workspaces. Frankly, I was not able to merge a few accounts and move all boards to a single place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of remote collaboration by providing an interactive online whiteboard that allows my team to brainstorm, visualize ideas, and work together in real time from anywhere. It enhances project organization and helps us stay aligned, regardless of location.
