My go to tool for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
It's such a complete product, very intuitive and easy to use. I use it daily to collaborate with my team (and sometimes stakeholders) and the overall experience is very smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could organise my boards better in folders. For a workspace/team that has many boards it's easy to spend some time looking for the right boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to work synchronously and async with my colleagues and stakeholders. Making sure that all the knowledge we have is mapped properly and is easy to find.

Great online tool for collaboration and planning!
What do you like best about the product?
I am regularly using Miro in different kind of collaboration, planning and co-creation tasks. It tackles most of my requirements. The usabillity of the solution is very good, and it support even large number of simultanious users. You can use it just yourself, with colleagues and also with partners outside from your organisation. I specially like the great template library which is available in the solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything special in my mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to visualize even complex topics, great tool for online workshops and co-operative planning of our projects/processes.
Fantastic experience
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple, but efficient. Good for taking creative notes, collaboration. Even for setting the process and flow diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a limitation when I tried to copy some parts from canvas to another, when there are many photos it refuses to continue the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can note everything in creative visual way to memorize easily when I read it afterwards.
In collaboration between team members it makes communication easy and explaining things is more efficient.
I have used it to escalate my ideas and to collect the customer requirements.

Collaboration powerhouse
What do you like best about the product?
That I can do a lot of different things in one app. As a highly visual person it helps me plan, design and facilitate complex projects and processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functions could be expanded and improved, for example text formatting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All-in-one place for project design, project facilitation, collaboration and other activities like user research and prototyping. I don't need multiple apps but only one. It is all based on visualising complexity which helps navigate me the projects I'm working on.
The review as a NGO
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and possibility to make dynamics and work collaboratively are amazing. The tools are effective and easy to use after you learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
The version free is too limited for boards, as a NGO in Brazil, the price is really high for the paid version. It would be great to have something for non profits, or discount for emerging or underdeveloped countries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is mostly working remotly, so Miro is halpping a lot to provide an experience close to the in person experience. Adding, also, new features that is not possible in person.
Work on flowcharts/design in one place with co workers at the same time
What do you like best about the product?
I can connect this to Monday.com and create my designs in there. This way my project managers, coworkers and everyone else can see it.
Different colored sticky notes also helps with making notes for certain features
I can easily paste images into Miro and resize them if needed
I mostly use it for flow charts.

What do you dislike about the product?
It was hard to find my design sometimes because my company created multiple groups -this is more about my team not being organized I think rather then Miro issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the designers wireframe and app. So that myself as a developer can see the flow before implementing
Excellent for mapping out discussions!
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great user-friendly tool for linking ideas in flow-charts. We use Miro to ensure all of our ideas are fully fleshed out. We love being able to collaborate through Miro!
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't encountered any downsides with using Miro!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro to solve our need for collaborative flow-charts, which greatly aids in communication for big projects.
Miro is like my best friend to reach out to for many needs!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has already become my best friend for several tasks, either at the office or at home! And I use it every day! To me, Figma is like JIRA, delicately created but not necessarily the most user-friendly, but Miro is like Notion, not the best tool for single or few specific needs, but always the first one that we might think of!😊
Why I like Miro? Because the features are quite intuitive and designed in a user-centric way. I have been using Miro for nearly 4 years at different companies and for personal side projects, and although I never really checked for Miro's official user guidebook, I almost never felt lost while using the tool! To me, Miro is like a Swiss knife, since it can be used for brainstorming, workflow drafting, data schema visualization,...and more! Yes, it might not cover every aspect, it might not have the most complete features, but it's the most multifunctional and the most user-friendly 😍

What do you dislike about the product?
For UI/UX designers and data analysts, the current version of Miro might still not fulfill their needs. For example, the preset designing tools are not as complete as Figma, or the entity relationship diagrams (ERDs) templates/buttons for data schema overview are not so hassle-free. Still need to do some manual workarounds. But overall, these are not big deals, because no tool is perfect! However, some better default "templates" would be beneficial!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The 2 most unforgettable business use cases that Miro helped me to solve: drafting ERDs in a short period to review the current data schema within my company, and completing a go-to-market project from 0. For the first use case, I was requested to simplify the internal data workflows which is comprised of a series of BigQuery's scheduled queries. As a new member of the data team, considering there were no existing ERDs or documentation from colleagues, I had no idea how many tables we had, what were their associations with each other, and what was the execution order for them. Thankfully, with Miro, I drew the ERDs of more than 30 tables within one week and trouble-shot the task! And for the second use case, I was leading a team of 5 nationalities - sometimes collaborating remotely - to create an MVP of social media mobile app from 0, and see how we could penetrate into these 5 new markets. Since we were tackling the "cold-start problem" of startups, we just used Miro to create the mockups, visualize the mobile user journeys, list down the findings of UX interviews, and eventually form the user personas in different countries - all on Miro! That was during COVID, so sometimes we just hopped on a virtual meeting room, opened Miro and brainstormed stuff together, and then the project was done successfully. This wouldn't be possible without Miro!:)
Sam's review of Miro.
