Intuitive tool for collaborative work

  • September 17, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to draw/work on shared content with other people.
Friendly interface and lots of useful templates that can make our daily work and ideas much clearer!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if I'm making the most profit from this tool, which is constantly adding more functionalities. This is a good thing, even if it's hard to keep it up to date.

The way the boards are shared or organised could be improved. Sometimes I've doubts about who has access to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It avoids the boring way of documenting stuff, and it's super interactive

An essential tool

What do you like best about the product?
It's a flexible space for collaboration, and it's relatively easy to bring new users into it. I use it primarily for facilitating strategic planning workshops, preliminary mapping, and collaborative visioning. It's easy to communicate through the platform—we frequently tag each other for review and comment. Overall, it's a really good balance of a professional tool and an accessible tool. I feel like I can use it with any client. Most of them start using it on their own after we introduce it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scaling—it seems to vary from board to board, and there isn't an obvious way to figure out the best size for the tools and processes you're using.

I dislike the icons that are assigned to the boards when you are in your team space, they are confusing and I don't want to take the time to reassign all of the boards new icons (we have 100's of boards)

I would like you to bring back more sticky colors - there was a moment when there were more choices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote collaboration. It allows us to work asynchronously and also to come together and think as if we're in a room together.

The board is easy to use, I often use it in my work and in collaboration with colleagues

What do you like best about the product?
Overall, I like everything. Convenient interface, pre-configured templates and a dimensionless board ))
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes there are problems with scaling. For example, I add a picture, then I start writing text to it and it is disproportionately small relative to the picture. I have to adjust the text size separately
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All my artifacts are stored in one place during the work process and it is convenient. I have quick access to diagrams, tables, references. I can leave notes there and make changes at any time

  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've used several tools such as Miro but none can compare! It's efficient and sleek. My team is mostly hybride so the real-time collaboration is amazing: Miro allows multiple users to work on a shared board simultaneously, making it ideal for teams to brainstorm, plan, and design together, even remotely. Customer support is also good: when you are confused, they will answer quickly! Lastly in my role, the different templates are a great feature: Miro offers a wide range of ready-made templates that can be customized, saving time and offering inspiration for different types of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the browser is unresponsive, to which users may need to refresh or use a different browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy, efficient cross real time collab between teams!

What do you like best about the product?
How it's easy to quickly create diagrams and collaborate on new designs for software architecture.
What do you dislike about the product?
The zoom feature and scale of boards are weird sometimes when the board is started on a tiny scale. There should be an option to re-scale a board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating on whiteboard together when working from home.

A Useful Tool with Room for Growth

  • September 16, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an excellent tool for brainstorming and teamwork. I love how simple it is to make and distribute boards to my group. Thanks to the very user-friendly drag-and-drop functionality, I can add papers, drawings, and sticky notes with ease. No matter where they are, the real-time collaboration works well to keep everyone in the loop. Additionally, the readily available templates simplify the process of setting up various board kinds.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback of Miro is that, especially to those who are unfamiliar with it, the number of features can be a little difficult. On rare occasions, it seems as though the user interface is too filled with tools and options. Additionally, if you require complex functionality or have a big crew, it could get expensive. Finally, when too many people are working on it at once or when the board is larger, the performance may suffer a little.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team finds it effortless to collaborate virtually, maintain visual organisation, and combine Miro with other applications, all of which contribute to our increased productivity and efficiency.

What do you dislike about the product?

Idea Diagram and Product Roadmapping is the main usage of Miro for us.

Effective Collaboration and Transparent Process Development with Miro.

  • September 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is easy to use and great for teamwork. It has many features like Kanbans, Timelines, and Diagramming, perfect for project-focused people. For teams that brainstorm or change ideas often, tools like sticky notes and voting are helpful. The "Talktrack" feature is great for explaining boards, and their support team and community are always improving the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have two complaints about Miro. First, I’ve experienced cards in Kanbans disappearing randomly, and board history confirms they weren’t deleted by users. Second, there are times when Miro either doesn’t load or content reverts to a previous version, which raises concerns about its reliability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has resolved the transparency issue with our new solutions and process developments. It provides a quick, easy way to meet, discuss, and collaborate instantly on a shared canvas. We can now engage in meaningful discussions and work together effectively without always needing to schedule meetings.
