A great tool to collaborate and visualize
What do you like best about the product?
I often use Miro for various purposes, including collaboration during ideation sessions, mapping out consumer journeys, and conducting check-ins. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to use, and the extensive library of templates allows me to quickly jump into different projects without starting from scratch. Whether I'm brainstorming ideas with my team, visualizing complex workflows, or organizing regular check-ins, Miro provides the flexibility and tools I need to stay productive and creative.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro is an incredibly powerful tool, it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, particularly when collaborating with a new group. The learning curve can slow things down initially, especially if it's just a one-off session, which might make you hesitant to use it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps with creative check-ins and generating workplans, making collaboration more effective. Before using Miro, I didn’t have a similar platform, so it’s been a great tool for managing these tasks efficiently.
Irreplaceable service for collaborative fork among art related departments
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about Miro is how easy it is to dive in and start using. The interface is straightforward, so there's hardly any learning curve. I find it super handy for working with images and text, setting up reference boards, adding links to youtube with preview window, grouping pictures, writing comments, creating IDEF diagrams – you name it. Plenty of templates to start with to organize different kind of information. Runs smoothly and quickly, unless board consists of 200+ highress images and you try to zoom out and preview them all at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite the fact there are pretty handfull tools for creating tables and charts they do not support simple equations which make it impossible to dodge online sheets like google sheets or ms excel completely. Miro has a kanban template, but unfortunately ticket cards are not possible to modify to your personal needs, it is impossible to add picture to the ticket card for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we are working with visual products Miro became core service for their developmnet. For every project we have several Miro boards for different purposes, such as visual project iterations, comments and feedback sessions, WIP boards, ref boards, ets. It for people from different teams and locations to work simultaneously and always have possibilty to add or get any needed information at any point of time.
Use it for two main goals - Thinking and Planning
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very useful for fast collaboration and brainstorming. Very fast and convinient way to put my thoughts in electronic format.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest problem for me is lack of functionality in tables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy planning, fast brainstorming.
Huge Canvas for brainstorming on loads of Artifacts
What do you like best about the product?
4th year of utilising Miro to streamline the definition and design process, and it's now a go-to tool company-wide.
At ReloadUX and Tkxel, our UI/UX Design and Business Analyst teams rely heavily on Miro. It's been especially helpful for running discovery workshops, taking us smoothly from ideation through to design.
We use it for:
- Planning projects
- Collaborating with stakeholders
- Creating user personas and gathering interview data
- Conducting market research and competitive analysis
- Managing permission metrics
- Developing mind maps, user flows, and functional architecture diagrams
Miro creates a win-win for both internal teams and clients with collaborative features and loads of artefacts.
Looking forward to transition of tempaltes into proper built-in features that can give more user control.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Templates should be built-in feature.
For example Table view only comes as template but it should be a proper built-in function that supports not all but basic functionality of excel.
Similarly gantt chart, infographics like piechart, bar graphs can be built-in features which will give improved control to end users.
- Zoomed out view comes with some glitches like displaying wrong naming of titles and when you zoom in it corrects it.
- Documentation - for documenting long documents like FAQ's, technical document, user stories or whitepaper; teams still switch to other tool like notion and basic word. It's a must have for Miro to reach towards a 360 degree tool.

A revolutionary and indispensable tool for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an exceptional tool for collaboration, especially when it comes to building product roadmaps. The collaboration tools are intuitive and powerful, allowing the entire team to work together in real-time. The dot voting feature is particularly useful for making quick and democratic decisions, facilitating consensus on priorities and ideas. It's also an essential tool for retrospectives. We use it everyday for brainstorming and planning thanks to the integration with other tools such as Jira and DevOps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced functions take a bit of time to master, which can slow down the initial workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro addresses several key challenges in our organization: Miro allows team members to collaborate in real-time, regardless of their location, encourage active participation, Miro’s ability to create mind maps, flowcharts, and other visual aids helps in clearly presenting complex ideas and strategies. This makes it easier for everyone to understand and contribute to the discussion to reach a consensus on priorities and next steps.
Best in-class for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
It makes connecting with others remotely as easy as if you were in person standing in-front of a whiteboard. Whether this is when running a workshop with 15/20 people or planning a presentation in a 1-1, it works seamlessly so I use it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can occasionally be a little laggy when loading large boards but this is a rare issue. Other than that, no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use miro for so many different things:
- Running workshops
- Documenting new ideas
- Continous discovery
- Planning presentations
- Presenting vision and strategy

Miro review
What do you like best about the product?
Multiple people can collaborate to design charts, create presentation and input their ideas at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is not easy to find things on the board when more content is being added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to collaboarate with mutiple teams. Design initial wireframe mock ups.
Excellent and easy to use collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for collaborative workshops with clients, and the interface is super intuitive. Creating a board for workshopping is super easy and the board is easy to share with clients- no fuss in setting up user accounts for them or diminished features- they can collaborate and edit along with me. The voting feature is well thought out and we use that a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I wish Miro were able to do would be to allow the addition of objects to vote on while voting. We sometimes come up with new ideas in the middle of a voting session and want to include these in the vote, but they end up being greyed-out and excluded for voting. Adding this feature as an option or asking me if I would like to include the object in the active vote would be perfect!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to use a whiteboard in in-person workshops along with a stack of post-it notes. These days things have changed and we are now on Zoom or Teams calls with clients and collaborative workshopping still needs to happen. Miro fills in where we used to have a physical whiteboard, but with the added ability to save, edit, re-use, vote and create crisp diagrams... exceeding my needs but also seemingly to almost always have the feature I need when I think "I wonder if Miro can do X?" I can collaborate with clients and it is really frictionless for them to sign in using an anonymous account and the password I give to them and get right to collaboration. Being able to lock down elements as well as security features helps ensure privacy and that the base presentation I am providing is not altered.
Great tool for everyday work
