As an everyday Miro user, I can't imagine working without Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Miro allows me to work remotely, I use it every day. I'm a service designer, and a huge part of my job is about facilitating sessions with different stakeholders. We are based on different cities, so I can't imagine working without Miro.
- I love how easy it is to use, many times I run sessions with users or stakeholders who never used it before, and it's extremelly intuitive.
- Many simple features such as presentation, bring to me, and timer are really useful in those situations.
- I also use Miro to analyse qualitative data I get from interviews and workshops, some features such as using AI to group, or tags, are really useful.
- Within our company we create our own templates, save them and try to enhace the use of them within the company.
- We recently started to do some low-fi wireframing on Miro, we had a design sprint a couple of weeks ago, and for example, to start putting together some ideas with Product Managers, it was so easy to use!
- Last year I was in charged of negociating the new contract for our company, and I must say that in general the customer support was great. We only had some small issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
For me the main downside of Miro is that it can become messy. When you share a board with someone who wasn't part of that project it can be hard to understand it. I believe you are starting to tackle this problem with the Talktracj feature, but I wonder if there's something else you can do in that space.
The other issue we had when renewing the contract, is that we have some problems wiht the usage report Miro was sharing with us. It wasn't really accurate.

As I already mentioned, we are a company where most of the people works remotely. And my role is as Service Designer, I'm constantly facilitating sessions with stakeholders based all along the UK. My work without Miro would be imposible.
We have tested other tools such as FigJam, but I believe Miro has way more features, and also the UI makes it easier to use for those ones who are new to it.
Miro allows as to work collaboratevly, also it's excellent when mapping out processes or journeys. It's my favourite tool when creating service blueprints or Journey Mapps.
We also use it to create rowadmaps, and track the state of each stage, the Jira integrations has make it easier for us to. Jira is not that user friendly when it comes to visualising the state of a project, I believe that the integration with Miro, has made our life easier.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unlike PowerPoint if you like precision with alignment, sizing, etc. especially when it comes to dimensions you cannot edit the sizes as quickly.
Lacking certain shortcut functionalities, so not always the most effective for precise but fast execution

Speed, I've had boards that have vast amout of content on that a lot of cases and it performs very well.
Team and collab features are a breeze, timing and voting functions are nice
Recoding is create as I can record a talk for a client in my natural way when showig around a board

What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of positives, but to be picky, sometimes the linking arrows are not the most intelegent, they are for your average board but when you really expand to many many objects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an solution architect it solves a lot of problems with getting a quick diagram or idea down either ad-hoc in front of a client or by myself. It allows me to express concepts, wireframe, process flows very quikcly to lcients and the exports fit very well into documentation and presentations.
Must’ve for teams
What do you like best about the product?
Team co-working environment. Flows creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited functionality with free plan. Expensive for small teams.

Collaborative diagramming and CJ mapping
Flexibility in operation
What do you like best about the product?
Next shape prediction. easy zoom in-out , smooth movement of objects and formating
What do you dislike about the product?
No Certification to proof my work on resume.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overcoming microsoft tools to create smooth workflows
Cool tool, but forced expensive subscription (board becomes locked.)
What do you like best about the product?
nice little tool to brainstorm stuff or share a team org for example.
What do you dislike about the product?
At some point, we suddently "exceeded the free feature limits". So our board became frozen, impossible to edit, export, or even copy text from. Impossible to delete other boards that we weren't using anymore, or remove access from former users. The only way to export content was csv (PDF export is "available" but anything in small characters will not be readabe).
Upgrade is pricey at $8 per user per month.

It was a convenient and casual org chart board where people could maintain their own records, talk about their hobbies etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a fantastic tool for collaborative work and brainstorming! I appreciate its versatility and the way it supports creativity. Its infinite canvas allows for free-form thinking, and the range of templates and widgets helps structure ideas efficiently. The real-time collaboration features make it easy for teams to work together, no matter where they are. Plus, the ability to integrate with other tools and platforms enhances its usefulness in various workflows
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro is a powerful tool, there are a few areas that I find challenging:
Complexity for New Users: Miro’s extensive features and tools can be overwhelming for beginners. It might take some time to get used to all the options and functionalities.
Performance Issues: For larger boards with lots of content, Miro can sometimes experience slowdowns, especially if the internet connection isn't optimal.
Cost: While there's a free version, some of the more advanced features are only available in the paid plans, which might be a barrier for smaller teams or individuals.

Miro is your new Bestfriend
What do you like best about the product?
1. They offer a free plan to create 3 boards. And the good thing is, you can create a lot of content on just one board.
2. Easy collaboration. I can just send the link to my team member and we can create things inside the Miro board in real time.
3. User-friendly and packed with hundreds of free templates to use. I can simply drag and drop, copy and paste elements. They have shapes, colors, pens, and even notes! I can even edit the images I uploaded/pasted.
Miro is really a big help when we were redesigning our websites and starting out with a new product. We use Miro to create wireframes of the pages and add notes for iterations. And then to the plan out the new product, we just simply placed all out ideas and make it our playground. Really good!

What do you dislike about the product?
Only have one downside for me, and this is because I am on a free plan.
If I share only one board with a member, they can still access the other boards under my account.
However, if you'd like to share that specific board exclusively, you have to upgrade to a paid plan.
