Miro Has Made Collaboration Easy
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Miro is its online interface where the project team and clients, no matter where they are in the world, can all log into the same presentation board and be part of the collaboration. Having everything on the same screen makes the presentation flow easier. Moving around the board is definitely easier than having to open multiple PDF files and having to toggle between them. It just makes the interaction with clients more professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how everything appears low resolution and only gets to the higher resolution of the file by constantly zooming in and allowing the software to clear up and get a sharp image to the uploaded information. It disrupts the flow of the meeting everytime a zoom like this needs to occur. I've noticed zooming in beyond 150% is necessary, along with panning around all the different files that have been uploaded to get them to also clear up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned prior on what I like best, being isolated from my colleagues due to the pandemic, we all had to take on a remote approach to our design collaboration and get creative on how to present our projects to clients. Miro has solved the problem of distance and has allowed the whole team to be in the same space, making/marking up right on the screen in a live sense. The benefits of immediate feedback have simplified the process in my day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is very intuitive to use, but do allow yourself time to properly plan out a layout for your board. I find setting up your Frames makes navigation around the board so much easier. These Frames reduce the fumbling around the page to find certain components very quickly.
Very intuitive to use and has been helpful to use in client presentations.
What do you like best about the product?
the beautiful graphics that are easy to create
What do you dislike about the product?
wish there was a polyline tool in addition to the line tools.
lines too often jump to attach to something, sometimes you just need a separate arrow or line.
wish imported images could have opacity options .

Elevate your white-boarding collaborative work experience
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is honestly the best virtual white-boarding and collaborative tool out there! The collaborative ability to brainstorm remotely but together and the features Miro has to allow our creativity to come out. While getting my coworkers started on Miro, they especially appreciated and were a fan of the helpful onboarding tips. Using the app, to them, felt intuitive. This made using Miro to showcase my research synthesis and working with my co-workers a lot easier - so thanks Miro for that!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have an excellent way to organize boards or to have a visual way to label the boards. I'd need to click on the board itself to recall what the conten was in it.
There's a bit of a drawback with using the app itself because it lags when moving objects around. This makes myself as a user use the app a bit less efficiently.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A significant problem my team and I are solving with Miro is how we collaborate as a team. Working in a company remotely has had its challenges. Making an effort of how to improve our collaborative skills was essential to us. Miro's helped with getting on a call and start mapping and moving ideas around.
Synthesizing user research and visually putting data information to where I need/want to place them. It also helps to communicate the data I've gathered with my team. Doing this has improved the way we see and view data, and with that, we've enjoyed organizing our research findings.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool to allow for collaborative teamwork. There are templates to try out if you need help on coming up with a template.
Almost as in person collaboration. Great tool.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use and the new features they release are clearly oriented towards remote team meetings and improving collaboration across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a designer, it takes me a bit to get used to different tools, but you really don't need the whole of Figma onto a Miro board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstormings are easier.
Team meetings, icebreakers, games. All interactions within a team are easier.

Virtual Collaboration made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Space seems to be quite expansive at default, spellcheck, intuitive ease, file import presentations stacked.
What do you dislike about the product?
Separate multiple boards, upgrades required for the timer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual collaboration of a NEW large project team remotely coordinating work, training, and project objectives.

Powerful, easy and fast growing
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is the first thing to underline. Templates are various and valuable in everyday work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video chat is interesting, but it's hard to use it when you don't focus on the Miro board. If you have to share other stuff outside the board like other programs, it becomes tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The research part had a significant boost since the collaboration features allowed us to work together simultaneously on the project. The ease of use also allows people with less experience in those kinds of applications to become operative in no time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've tried many other software and web applications, and I can say Miro it's the best visual collaboration platform around.
I love being able to fluidly ideate in the digital world
What do you like best about the product?
The fluidity of moving things: zooming in and out, adding images and annotations. I am dyslexic and also a very visual thinker. I feel constrained by things like powerpoint slides, but with Miro I feel like I can create whilst I think. It helps me to draw connections between things, and see how concepts fit together. Not to mention beding able to ideate together with others.
I'm also a JIRA user and I really like that you can integrate JIRA tickets into Miro.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would love better support/integrations with written documents - writing 1-pagers is my other preferred mode of formulating ideas and concepts, and I'd to be able to do this within the Miro ecosystem too. It would be great to interact with written text documents in Miro, and in particualr to be able to annotate and edit text documents with circling or underlining or commenting, like you would normally do on paper.
I would also like additional JIRA integration features... I would like to actually ditch JIRA entirely and use Miro as the main way to track tickets within my team. It's so much easier to move things and visualise things in Miro than in JIRA

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing together different sources of information (e.g., images, screenshots of charts, screenshots) and then organizing and contextualizing that information, sharing it with others in a narrative that makes sense, and real-time collaboration with others.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the templates as a source of inspiration and give yourself the time to explore your creativity
Not sure how we have lived without it
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is so simple to use - people can get up to speed very quickly (they forget they're in a tool) - and so many great templates available!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is limited integration with enterprise tools as of yet (e.g. MS Teams, other)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is so easy to collaborate and facilitate a conversation in a remote environment; It completely replaces the need for whiteboards and stickies on a board - and amazing that we have records of the sessions (we don't have to record additional notes afterwards!)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out the templates and the miro community for great examples of tool use.
Satisfied with the flexibility of the tool
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Miro is the great flexibility that having an infinite size frame brings. With this I can create large and complex flows of explanations, dynamics, and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't think is negative about Miro is the difficulty of several select items simultaneously. I was unable to select all items in an area. That way I am forced to select item by item to be able to drag a diagram, for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Miro:
-I create visual specifications of the business rules of the products that my teams will develop.
- Conduct teambuilding dynamics
- I build a roadmap for my stakeholders
- I create drawings to make ideas tangible
