A great tool for our remote teams to work on everything from roadmaps to wireframes
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and features. The boards are straightforward to set up, with a ton of templates. The left menu makes it easy to find the tools you need. We run a lot of workshops, so the time management, recording and voting tools are invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permissions and copying are sometimes difficult. You can't duplicate a board from inside the board itself. If I want to create a variant, I must go back to the home page.
The new update to permissions makes it more difficult to quickly invite others to edit, which is particularly annoying when running workshops.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows us to run expensive, in-person workshops remotely. This not only saves us money but also provides flexibility when we do want an in-person event, we can still include remote workers by running all our sessions through Miro. Using Miro also means we keep a record of our discussions, journey maps etc. Running whiteboard sessions in person often means the board is scrubbed at the end of the day, the post-its are lost and the photos we take still need to be saved and written up. Miro solves all these problems.

My Experience with Miro: Strengths, Weaknesses, and Overall Impact
What do you like best about the product?
It's great to have plenty of space for everyone to express themselves. We work as a team, and there's enough room for each of us to put our ideas separately before bringing everything together in a shared document.
Miro is fairly easy to use, people get the hang of it quickly and don't have much trouble figuring out how to participate at a basic level.

What do you dislike about the product?
When the files get too full, they tend to lag more and more, making it difficult to work on them. It would be great to easily transfer some of the elements to a new file, including the comments.
It is sometimes a bit painfull to share the rights to people participating to the canvas. We use miro daily but some of our colleague only join once in a while (once a month for example) so we cannot afford a license for each of them. It could be great to have "flying licenses" or a licenses that is shared within a team or to several people, idk.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us clearly define our clients' problems and how the competition solves (or fails to solve) these issues. Miro then helps us identify the reasons why we can solve the problem, brainstorm potential solutions, determine the KPIs that will help us measure our success, and finally, it's on Miro that we set up user story mapping and prioritize milestones in the roadmap.

Miro – Great for Remote Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been a game-changer for my team's collaboration. Its easy-to-use interface and real-time updates make brainstorming and project planning seamless. The variety of templates and integrations with tools like Slack and Jira save us a lot of time.
While larger boards can sometimes slow down, overall, Miro’s flexibility and powerful features make it a must-have for any remote team. Highly recommended!

What do you dislike about the product?
Dislikes about Miro's G Board could include occasional slowdowns on larger boards, limited offline functionality, and a bit of a steep learning curve for new users. Additionally, the mobile app lacks some features, and pricing can feel high for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of remote collaboration by providing a shared, real-time workspace for brainstorming, project management, and visual planning. It helps me organize ideas, collaborate seamlessly with my team, and streamline workflows, all in one place, boosting productivity and efficiency.
Incredibly visual and effective for real time collaborative projects
What do you like best about the product?
Miro was incredibly visual and easy to work with during our website development and UX/UI research processes. It really smoothed out our work across different project phases. I loved how team members from various departments and skill levels could easily jump in and start contributing. Creating flowcharts, sticky notes and adding real-time comments kept everyone aligned during reviews and helped us progress quickly through the website development process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Miro is generally easy to use, navigating large boards can be a bit of a hassle sometimes without knowing some shortcuts. I had to get used to shortcuts for essential functions like the hand tool to move around. While scrolling is easy, it would be great to have these tools more visible in the interface for quick access. Zooming into specific areas without multiple clicks would improve the experience. This is especially true when working on detailed sections to navigate quickly. Also remember only 3 boards will be active and editable at once in free version, however it was not a significant limitation for our project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helped us visualize and organize our entire project in one place, from UX/UI review, mapping users journey and web page planning and refinement. We were able to present the information and summary of our work to present it to stakeholders and teams and also collaborate at real time. We even used to map and analyzing feedback from surveys. When we had everything laid out visually, it provided our team with clear understanding of each phase. This really improved our workflow and made sure everyone was aligned and involved in the project.
I've been using Miro for product & business design for over 5 years
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a visual thinker. Miro really helps me design product and organise thoughts. It helps me solve problems and make decisions
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to navigate really big pages. Also can be fiddly when trying to connect various boxes etc. This is minor though
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me organise thoughts

Great for team collaboration
Makes ideas neat and tidy and easy to refer back to

Miro helped with the integration of our study group
What do you like best about the product?
The possibility to make comments and sinchronyze our work and brainstorms
What do you dislike about the product?
Some templates of sotware development are unfortunately paid and would help a lot
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We formed a study group back in the days to get better results at college and, by using Miro, we were able to make diagramms and elaborate complex ideas that we had trouble to understand
Boost your results and promote collaboration with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Miro allows you to manage multiple projects from different clients in an incredibly collaborative way. With various TEMPLATES and AI, you can map processes, perform discoveries, and manage roadmaps.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. The price for Brazil is relatively expensive and 2. we missed a recommended zoom to start using. Some customers work with the wrong zoom which ends up causing problems and rework.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro generates visual results, enabling a holistic and detailed view of projects, journeys and requirements. Facilitating the management of projects, deliveries, roadmaps and results. It also promotes collaboration through multiple accesses, thus optimizing processes and promoting team integration.
Everything you want in one place!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro provides comprehensive functionality to create get mind mapping boards in a collaborative space. The ability to share your creations through guided presentations is already a big plus. Love seeing the continued improvement in the product also. I use miro on a daily basis currently to communicate strategy to customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides currently with is a great claim.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provide a quick and easy solutuion for taking the knowledge from your mind to map.
First time users loved it!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very simple and intuitive to use. I introduced it to a large team for brainstorming and ideating. The team was in different locations, and working together was easy. Although the team had never worked with Miro or even heard of it, they took to it quickly and loved how easy it was to collaborate and move around on the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about Miro, but it seems it's not possible to transfer the administration of a board to someone else. This is important in situations where a person exits an organisation and needs to pass ownership to another team member.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has been fantastic in analysing and synthesising the outputs of a research exercise. It enables team members to participate on one board and see all aspects of a project without the restrictions of email, a Teams channel, or even Slack (particularly in organisations where such platforms are not allowed). I also love the ease of creating bundles of of sticky notes straight from Excel.
