What do you like best about the product?
You can start with smaller database and expand it anytime you want in the future
It provide fast access to data both on-premise and in the cloud makes It super convenient
What do you dislike about the product?
It will too costly if you have a large corporation data
Also Documentation could be little better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use it to store the data for a small application in my workplace

What do you like best about the product?
IBM Db2 has the best user interface, its easy to use. It has Quickly spin up data marts and Built on the Db2 Common SQL Engine. most importantly it has Self-service backup and restore. it used for Analyze dynamic cloud data sets. Finally it has excellent performance and cost savings, with cloud warehouse pricing and business agility through the IBM Cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times response time is high than usual, it may be due to high volume usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use for Elastic scaling of compute and storage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sometimes response time is high.

It should more like Netezza. Performance needs to be enhanced

What do you like best about the product?
Lo que más me gusta de Db2 es su facilidad para agilizar el tiempo de respuestas de una consulta,
muy necesario a la hora de crear nuevas bases de datos y gestión de elementos y de consultar elementos.
Es muy segura y la hora de integrarlo en tu empresa puede ser una opción muy factible desde el punto de
vista de su estabilidad ya que es un gestor de bases de datos muy fiable con un soporte excepcional..
Y la facilidad de importar datos hace que sea una herramienta muy recomendada para guardar datos y gestionarlos en tu empresa.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lo malo de Db2 es que sólo será útil para manejar relativamente pocos datos, utiliza mucho la memoria RAM para las instalaciones y utilización de software.Y su principal problema puede ser el costo, posee un costo elevado para adquirir licencias en muchos equipos. También mencionar que el lenguaje de SQL es algo menos robusto que en otros gestores de datos lo que complica algo su manejo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gestión de datos de clientes internacionales y nacionales, problemas de Big Data y gestión de almacenamiento a nivel general. Las consultas generalmente suelen durar poco tiempo y es algo útil para la gestión a gran escala de los datos almacenados.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Si eres una empresa grande a nivel internacional con gran poder adquisitivo el inconveniente del coto elevado para este gestor de bases de datos no supondrá un impedimiento por que es de total recomendación para la gestión de archivos xml dentro de tu empresa junto con otros tipos de archivo.

It's a good data base for medium data load.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not good for big data, and also works with IBM tools only go for ..Free wares.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rdbms
Recommendations to others considering the product:
No ..Now lot of new db in market considering the future ...Go for document based data base.

We use on the mainframe and it's extremely fast to retrieve data
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could be nicer. Since we just connect using a shell, the output could be clearer.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the speed and the functionality of it. We use db2 on both the mainframe and server environment. We have a data warehousing appliance that runs db2.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont dislike anything about this product. It is easy to learn and try transition from a different flavor of sql.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data warehousing, we also use db2 to store money transactions because it is so fast.
