Mercado Libre Implements a Machine Learning Strategy Using AWS

Mercado Libre experts explain how the company implemented a machine learning (ML) strategy and added value to the product by using Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions to achieve a consistent user experience for the 40 million users of its platform.

Mercado Libre is one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Latin America. Every second, approximately 11 purchases are made and more than 6,000 searches are carried out on Mercado Libre, generating a large volume of data.

The company developed a platform internally that allows data to be stored and analyzed to improve the user experience. In this video, Mercado Libre experts explain how the company implemented a machine learning (ML) strategy and added value to the product by using Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions such as Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) to achieve a consistent user experience for the 40 million users of its platform.
