NS1 - fantastic service - super easy to automate.
What do you like best about the product?
I use a mix of Azure resources and home network resources - where my IP address changes every month or two. NS1 takes care my needs perfectly in both use cases. They have easy to use automation so I can keep my system up to date when my home IP address changes. Manual changes are also easy to do - their web UI makes it easy to add/update/delete all of the various record types as needed. I absolutely love not having to use the DNS services that my domain provider makes available - makes changing domain providers super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found a single issue that fits my dislike list. Even when I have had issues, customer service was right there to help iron things out. Makes choosing a DNS service provider an easy one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domain and DNS service separation as I mentioned above - makes it very easy to use different domain name services while still getting great DNS services - this makes it easy for me to choose the lowest price for domain name purchasing and not compromising DSN services.
NS! for Automation solutions
What do you like best about the product?
Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the prices are reasonable. All forms of DNS entries and configurations, including ALIAS records, are supported. Customer service is quite quick to respond.
What do you dislike about the product?
Free tier is a little stingy. I understand they need to make money, but I would have preferred to see 1 million queries each month under the developer plan instead of 500k. On average, one question occurs every 3 seconds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Servers that are always available and excellent customer service. Furthermore, their DNS is published faster than my registrar's DNS.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Reliable hosting, reasonable pricing, and excellent support
Best hosting, best support
What do you like best about the product?
I have been hosting since 1997 and NS1 the best I have come across. 24/7 support, reliable servers, fair pricing. What more can you ask for?
What do you dislike about the product?
New Cpanel pricing. This is not to be blamed on NS1.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast support 24/7 in plain English.
Best DNS Ever
What do you like best about the product?
No down, realtime dns managment , easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing Maybe the price for pulsar solution
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
load balancing
Performant DNS, not just for large companies
What do you like best about the product?
Support for all types of DNS records and setups, including ALIAS records. Very responsive customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Somewhat stingy free tier. I know they have to make money, but I would have liked to see 1M queries/mo in the developer plan, rather than just 500k. That's only one query every 3 seconds on average.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NS1 has slightly sped up my website's initial load times, due to the fast DNS query and the ALIAS record support. Also, their DNS is published more quickly than my registrar's DNS.
Robust DNS solution
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to configure, but still retains all of the features you'd expect in a DNS solution. Great response performance under load and easily manageable.
What do you dislike about the product?
We honestly haven't run into a situation with our DNS where we were unsatisfied with NSOne.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They provide our DNS.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Affordable with a responive, robust architecture.
